9. ctivating the Auto Power Off Feature You can temporarily deactivate the Auto Power Off feature when you power up the TU 88 To do so simultaneously hold down w and 4 while you press Power button to turn on the power The Auto Power Off feature is always enabled when you switch on the power in the usual way Using a Tone to Indicate Tuning is Completed Accu Pitch Feature When the Accu Pitch feature is on a beeping sound is played when the pitch of the instrument you re tuning stabilizes within a range of three cents above or below the correct pitch This sound tells you that the pitch is in tune Switching the Accu Pitch Feature On and Off 1 Hold down TUNER and press Power button to switch the power on Whenever this operation is carried out the Accu Pitch feature is switched on or off When the Accu Pitch feature is enabled Accu Pitch appears in the display Nothing is displayed when the feature is deactivated Memory Feature E Changing the Battery The tuning guide flashes when the battery begins to run down Replace the battery as soon as possible 3 4 Once a battery is installed in the TU 88 the following settings can be stored in memory where they ll be preserved even while the power is turned off Removing the battery returns the TU 88 to its original factory settings Setting Tuning mode setting CHROMATIC GUITAR or BASS Original factory settings CHROMATIC DETE ZOUR
