53. 6 Beyond these visits we reahzed also a field trip that had a purpose of enhancing our skills in agriculture In Prefecture of Tottori we visited JA which organization that gathered many farmers them the Japan Agriculture is an and enable to increase productivity I liked how cooperative to JRYC members because this organization is they took a whole day to explain us how they proceed their activities I appreciated their idea s when we was in a meeting room at JA office saying that the Africans have to take an effort to be developed by themselves in agriculture and then they tried to motivate us through the tours we did with them in their different fields and they show us how they cultivate some crops in winter flowers fraises store technically the rice after harvestin

58. 5 Central Dome This dome have some relationship with the dune I spoke above because we got explanation from the Dr in charge of this dome saying that the huge surface near by the Sea uni was looking like Dune arid land but using technologies and research they established plants on that area They are able to control and manage Photosynthesis system of the plants in hot area Drip irrigation expensive Chosen plants that are resistant to high temperature like Giant saltbush Jatropha Tottori University is making the research in East Africa Tanzania using the department of this Dome CEUs Central Dome in Tottori Arid land research center We got explanation from the Professor and he showed us all parts of that dome and we found that it carries out the scientific research on Photosynthesis system of the plants in hot area

89. 71 1 GEA Nadine DAN AGRICULTURE TODAY Soil fertility e A high proportion of the soil has a significant acidity e 75 of the land is highly degraded and it has the highest negative nutrient balances in sub Saharan Africa e Soils are being lost at a rapid rate about 1 4 million tons per year This is equivalent to a decline of the country s capacity to feed 40000 people per year Land availability gt The Rwanda is a small country with 26338km2 gt The available land for cultivation is 52 because of the high population density gt The land holding is small and is divided in many plots gt In addition to the small size of the farmers and plots crops are grown on the steep slops The climate effect e The climate is characterised by strong precipitation on mountainous area causing the erosion and soil degradation Low altitude experience erratic and low rainfall Other general problems in terms of water and soil are poor use of farmyard manure and the agro fore

93. 4 At this school I was so excited to see how they welcome us So kindly humbly and Headmaster invested so much in this trip to school In addition how students were happy to Rwandan people black also was so see University and great until it makes me crying for wondering why people when they are young they seem to be innocent but at late ages they change and become so strange that is why wars conflicts 1 was wondering what can I do for making those students be in cooperation with Rwandans high schools And teach them Culture of Peace Sharing lunch food with students was also exciting with studying Rwanda geography In JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL I learned how to make a Japanese bird that was interesting I also learned Chemistry but I was surprised that they do the experiences in laboratory which I did when I was in Senior high school That means their education is more advanced After that we danced and tried to exchange the culture that was wonderfull I liked the song they sang for us I was almost crying But the best thing was how they are s

138. 3 It is a great pleasure for me to welcome you on behalf of Rwandans students from NUR Cultural Ballet INDANGAMUCO to this report I hope you will enjoy the outcome of your readings through this Report of our trip in Japan during three weeks of 18th December 2009 until 7th January 2010 1t is only 16 years after Rwanda known Genocide of Tutsi and it time now to expand and reestablishment of Diplomatic relations social and educational relations with developed countries Young people are the pillars in this process as well as the future power of the country That is whyINDANGAMUCO the cultural Ballet is participating in this activity which dates not more than 5 years but its fruit is being observed This cooperation between Indangamuco and Students of Waseda University is so paramount for benefiting exchanges culturally socially but educationally During this trip we focused on visiting some areas and especially based on Agriculture Religion In the future we want to strengthen this collaboration and the aim is emphasize on academic social and culture exchanges We hope that we will succeed if all organizations who supported this trip continue to do it more I is my sincere hope that you will discov

240. griculture all vr By visiting NIJO CASTLE I knew the history and culture of Japan As Rwanda Japan has a precious culture I really appreciated even on the road the behavior of old people we met At SHUNKOJI TEMPLE we met a Buddhist Priest who explained us about the religion in Japan and that was strange for me because it is deferent from my faith He explained also what is meditation how to do it and its importance That was new for me I learned a lot At TOTTORI UNIVERSITY we met Professor Kitamura who explained his research on water and soil conservation in EAST AFRICA and Arid land I learned a lot about irrigation techniques and I like his advice of solving our problems our selves as Rwandese and not to wait for a help of foreigner In JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL I learned how to make a Japanese bird that was interesting I also learned Chemistry but I was surprised that they do the 94 experiences in laboratory which I did when I was in Senior high school That means their education is more advanced After that we danced and tried to exchange the culture that was wonderfull I liked the song they sang for us I was almost crying But the best thing was how they are so kind genereous and innocent During our visit at JA we got the explanation about their actions including making cooperation between the members farmers in order to share techniques and hold stores together This method is beneficent f
