41. 495 The Support Practice for a Graduation Period Student with Developmental Disorder through Making Support Book Sunami Kikuchi Abstract This paper reports the practice of support for a female student with traits of developmental disorder during her graduation period The report gives two view points to examine the meaning of the practice The first one is collaboration with the university supporters and outside institutions The second one is building her self awareness and communication skills on how to express herself to others About the collaboration it is thought that it s necessary to make the network which can continue support and that network can perform the supporter support that a supporter is not exhausted Making a support book together gave a chance for her to rediscover herself and also verbally overviewing herself was a meaningful process Originally support book is something that is made by guardians or supporters and if necessary submitting to other schools as a reference However for adolescence making their own support book reinforced more self awareness than when others made for them It could be expected that verbally expressing ones self and letting other s know what his her necessities are to the others will lead to functions of building self advoca
