20. loride Precautions for Use Please make sure to follow the items outlined below in order to obtain optimal performance from this kit 1 Please take out two aluminum bags of LuciPac Pen AQUA immediately upon receive this box and keep in a refrigerator 2 8 C The long stem swabs may be kept at room tempera ture The long stem swab was specially manufactured for testing cleanliness Other commercial cotton swab may not produce correct results 3 Choose LuciPac LS2 8 400 or LS3 2 400 depending on the inner diameter of the object to be tested 4 Do not push the long stem swab into the narrow inspection point forcibly Stop pushing it forcibly when there is strong resistance at the time of the insertion If not done the cotton bud may fall off when you pull the swab up Do not use products that are past the expiry date Expired products may not yield accurate results Expiration date is printed on the labels of the kit box and aluminum bags Be sure to use only designated products when taking measure ments for amounts of luminescence This kit cannot be used with nondesignated products The LuciPac Pen AQUA should be allowed to reach room temperature see Table 2 prior to testing if they are from refrigerated stock Measurement values may read lower than actual if the LuciPac Pen AQUA devices are used while still cold Use the LuciPac Pen AQUA as soon as possible once they have returned to room tempera

25. sing of the kit and its reagents to ensure that none of the substances become mixed in with food and other products Be careful not to get fingers caught when inserting the sampling stick into the main body casing 4 Please make sure to store this kit and its parts out of the reach of young children Note that the releasing reagent used in this kit contains cationic surfactant benzalkonium chloride 3 Take precautions when disposing of this kit after use to ensure that such substances do not become mixed in with food products at food production centers and similar facilities Benzalkonium chloride is a disinfectant and antiseptic commonly used in hand and finger sterilizer solutions LuciPac LS 3 2 400 Storage Kit storage The aluminum bags of LuciPac Pen AQUA are to be stored at lowtemperature 2 C to 8 C 35 6 F to 46 4 F for log term storage The LuciPac Pen AQUA can be stored below 25 C 77 F for up to 14 days or below 30 C 86 F for up to 5 days before opening an aluminum bag without any adverse effect on the long term stability Do not freeze the LuciPac Pen AQUA The long stem swabs may be kept at room temperature We recommend that you use all 20 LuciPac Pen AQUA devices in a single bag at one time after opening an aluminum bag If you have leftover LuciPac Pen AQUA devices that you must store after opening a bag be sure to store them at the recommended low temperature 2 C to 8
