8. ened If your LUNA II is damaged or if it does not function properly unplug the subwoofer immediately and refer safety check and servicing to an authorized Audio Physic dealer audio physic 3 2 Aufstellung Anschluss und Justage Die Aufstellung des LUNA II Subwoofers ist sehr unproblema tisch und kann auf zwei verschiedene Weisen erfolgen 1 in einer Raumecke 2 an einer Wand Dabei solle der LUNA II Subwoofer in der dem H rer gegen berliegenden Raumh lfte stehen Beide Aufstellungen sind akustisch gesehen etwa gleichwertig In kritischen R umen gro e schallharte Fl chen z B Beton geringe M blierung quadratischer Grundriss ist die Wandaufstellung zu bevorzugen Der Subwoofer kann bei der Aufstellung in Wandn he mit einem Lautsprecherchassis an die Wand strahlend positioniert werden der Abstand Chassis Wand sollte dabei zwischen drei und zehn Zentimeter betragen Der Subwoofer sollte stabil auf den vier mitgelieferten Spikes ste hen Achten Sie darauf dass alle vier Spikes sollten festen Bodenkontakt haben Die Spikes sollten mit den beiliegenden Muttern gekontert werden Zwischen K hlk rper und der n chstgelegenen Wand m ssen mindestens 2 cm Abstand sein Anschluss Schlie en Sie den Subwoofer gem der Abbildung n chste Seite an Wenn Sie den Subwoofer ber die Lautsprecher ausg nge Ihres Verst rkers betreiben schlie en Sie die Lautsprecherleitungen an den Schraubklemmen an Der rechte La

13. or seamless transition from the subwoofer to the main loudspeakers When set to a middle position 80 Hz is the approximate cutoff frequency of the filter The high cut filter has a steep 24 db octave slope to ensure that unwanted frequencies are filtered out from the subwoofer PHASE It often occurs that the subwoofer is not positioned on the level of the loudspeakers Therefore itis necessary to consider the spa tial phase differences and adjust the phase switch to where sub woofer and speakers operate in harmony and do not cancel each other out The phase diagram tells you little regarding the phase shift We recommend therefore that you take some time to compare the two phase settings until an optimal phase response is obtained resulting in a seamless blend between the subwoofer and loud speakers ROOMGAIN The Roomgain control allows exact adjustment of the LUNA II to the individual characteristics of your listening room If you obtain a bass level that sounds too bulky or fuzzy or tends to thicken up instruments in the low bass range tum down the Roomgain value in small increments If you obtain a bass level that sounds too dry or tends to reduce the instruments in the low bass range then tum up the Roomgain value in small increments In order to quickly achieve an optimal setting we suggest that you proceed as if you were focusing your camera First focus your camera lens too sharply on an object and then properly adjust the foc
