Disposal The Nebufirst inhalation device is intended for domestic use in private households individual user patient and in a professional environment doctor s practice clinics and hospitals other health care facilities The device is subject to Category 8 of the German ElektroG Act on Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment Paragraph 2 Clause 1 which defines the manufacturer s obligation for recycling and disposal of the concerned electric or electronic equipment However according to Paragraph 2 Clause 1 of the same Act products that are considered infectious are exempt from this regulation According to the German ElektroG devices are considered infectious if blood or other biologic contaminants like secretion are able to infiltrate the device This regulation affects the tracheostoma mask 14 and the adapter 15 for which the aforementioned contamination risk can not be eliminated Therefore these accessory parts must be disposed of together with the ordinary household waste Please inform the manufacturer if your device is no longer needed We will advise you on the further procedure concerning disposal recycling of the Nebufirst inhalation device Prior to disposal of the device please observe the following Risk of infection by viruses bacteria and germs Infections can transmitt critical illnesses The device must be clean and disinfected prior to disposal in order to minimise the risk of
