4. music 4 Important operation instructions Never take out the vacuum arm tube while the machine is switched on Please make sure there is enough Ventilation in the room while you are using the Smart Matrix gt Never use cleaning fluid which is foaming or intended Never under any circumstances use recycled fluid Damage to the machine or your records may occur gt For the cleaning of your records use only approved cleaning fluids for record cleaning machines Never use any aggressive heavy alcoholic based fluids or acids with your Smart Matrix gt Due to the highly efficient vacuum suction of the machine during a constant use higher niose levels can be achieved Please protect your ears with appropriate materials when using the machine over longer periods gt Please wipe off any extra fluids which appear on the machine surface immediately with for e g an appropriate towel Empty the vacuumed fluid always after 15 20 cleaned records gt Your Smart Matrix has a build in sensor in the fluid tank To prevent any damage this will shut off the machine automatically when the tank is full This will happen when there is aprox 350 ml fluid in the tank Please empty the tank as described on page 9 point 7 Please make sure that you have switched off the vacuum button so the machine will not vacuum automatically while you empty the tank Damage to the machine could occur The vacuum engine of

14. fabric stripes each time when in use so that you never have a worn out stripe s or dirty stripe s to prevent any damages to the record Dust and dirt can be removed for instance with a toothbrush To change the micro fabric stripes take them off the arm tube Clean the metal with an alcoholic fluid Take the spare stripes and remove the protection foil of the glue pad s and place them next to the suction opening of the arm tube Please take care that you do not close the suction hole of the arm tube with the micro fabric stripes Note Micro fabric stripes which are completely dirty or gummed up can damage your records Please check them always before use Seite 20 clearaudio electronic GmbH 2006 A Smart Matrix Bedienungsanleitung USER MANUAL Loving music Set up and operation Connect your machine with the mains cable 7 to your wall socket and the integrated socket on the back side of the machine The Smart Matrix must be used only and always with a grounded mains wall socket DANGER if not Important When connecting your machine to the mains voltage always make sure that you are using the machine with the correct voltage supplied in your surrounding or country On the back panel you will find an indication sign sticker with the appropriate information The operation of the Smart Matrix is very easy and efficient There are only two switches built into the front panel The upper switch o
15. ht 6 If the record appears to be more dirty than usual you might have to turn the LP more and longer than recommended in point 5 TP For very dirty records we recommend to follow up with a second or even third cleaning and vacuuming process while the platter turns more then 2 times per each direction 7 To vacuum the record please swing the arm tube to the left towards the center of the record or spindle until the arm tube can be easily pushed down 8 You can now start the vacuuming process by switching on the VACUUM button and waiting till the record surface is completely dry Switch off the VACUUM and take off the secure puck Flip over the record and clean the other side in the same manner as previously described 9 Please empty the fluid tank after 15 20 cleaning procedures Take out the fluid release tube at the back panel of the machine till it stops automatically Don t pull too heavy as there is an inbuilt point of resistance Take off the red secure seal from the rubber tube To empty the tank place or put the fluid release tube in an appropriate tool to capture the fluid as it is flows out Replace the secure cap of the rubber tube Please keep in mind the secure cap must always be on the tube If not malfunction may occur or even damage the machine Please enjoy cleaning your records Seite 22 clearaudio electronic GmbH 2006 A Smart Matrix Bedienungsanleitung USER MANUAL Loving
