Navigators die Notaus Taste vom Booster oder von der Digitalzentrale wieder aktiviert Das Aufheben des Kurzschlusses der gesamten Anlage ist nicht Uber die Booster Stop Taste m glich Betriebsarten umschalten Mit der gr nen Modus Taste rechts stellen Sie die gew nschte Betriebsart ein Gehen Sie bitte wie folgt vor 1 Ziehen Sie den Netzstecker vom Schaltnetzteil welches am Booster angeschlossen ist 2 Trennen Sie die Verbindung zwischen Digitalzentrale und Booster Datenkabel 3 Dr cken und halten Sie die gr ne Taste am Booster und stecken Sie den Netzstecker des Schaltnetzteils wieder in die Steckdose Halten Sie die gr ne Taste bitte noch etwa 2 Sekunden gedr ckt Die gelb orange LED leuchtet nun permanent bei Betriebsart 2 oder sie erlischt bei Betriebsart 1 4 Verbinden Sie abschlie end die Digitalzentrale wieder mit dem Booster Die eingestellte Betriebsart bleibt nun dauerhaft aktiviert unabh ngig von St rungen oder Stromausfallen Um die Betriebsart wieder zu ndern wiederholen Sie einfach den beschriebenen Vorgang 4 2 Notaus Im Falle einer St rung oder einer drohende Kollision kann mit der Notaus Taste links ein kompletter bzw teil weiser Stopp aller laufenden Funktionen eingeleitet werden Die Funktionsweise ist prinzipiell die gleiche wie bei der Digitalzentrale Das Gleis wird nach dem Bet tigen der Notaus Taste abgeschaltet Dabei kommen ent weder alle Z ge Betriebsart 2 oder die Z ge im entsp

9. an be connected to one Digital Central Station allowing up to 20 amps of total power capacity for the layout 1 Connect one gray data cable plug to the data socket in the center of the Digital Central Station s rear panel 2 Connect the other end of this cable into one socket of the included Bus Splitter then connect the gray cable from the Bus Splitter into the data socket in the center of the Booster s rear panel More Boosters can be connected into the remaining socket on the Bus splitter using an additional gray data cable and Bus Splitter for each Booster One socket always remains free on the Bus Splitter of the last Booster Connect the black data cable of the Navigator Remote or Wireless Receiver into this socket Long Track Runs With large layouts such as on a garden railway it is advisable to install additional track power feeds at intervals Image 1 Optional Additional Track Power Feeds This ensures good power supply and reliable data communication Make sure to connect the wires in the same order Make wire extensions using a high quality cable with a cross section of at least 0 75 mm 18AWG in America Take care to connect each wire to the correct rail 4 Operation Control is accomplished only through the Digital Central Station and the instructions given to it from control devices such as the Navigator Remote The Booster is ready for operation as soon as the Digital Central Station is powered up and ready The two LEDs
10. estores normal operation Following a short circuit the Booster s Stop button cannot be used to restore power to the whole layout Changing Operating Modes Select the desired mode of operation using the green right button Follow this procedure to change the operating mode 1 Disconnect unplug or switch off power to the power supply transformer which is connected to this Booster 2 Disconnect the data cable from the socket on the rear panel of the Booster 3 While holding down the green right button on the Booster reconnect plug in or switch on power to the power supply which is connected to this Booster Keep pressing the green button for about 2 seconds then release the button The yellow orange LED is lighted constantly to indicate Operating Mode 2 or is off to indicate Operating Mode 1 4 Reconnect the data cable into the socket on the rear panel of the Booster The selected operating mode now remains in effect continuously regardless of power shut off or interruption To change the operating mode again repeat the above procedure 4 2 Emergency Stop In case of an emergency such as a collision or derailment the red left Emergency Stop button can be used to make a complete or partial stop of all current functions The operation works similarly to the emergency stop function on the Digital Central Station Track power is shut off by pressing the Emergency Stop button In Operating Mode 1 pressing this Booster s Emer
