Couper la longueur exc dentaire des vis avec des pinces coupantes et les limer au ras de la contre plaque Visser une chape sur le filetage libre des tringleries d une longueur d env 160mm la bloquer avec du freine filet UHU puis la connecter sur le palonnier du servo et sur le guignol de la gouverne Avec une longueur correcte des tringleries les volets d ailerons doivent tre en position neutre avec les servos en position milieu Monter les guignols sur les gouvernes de profondeur et de direction comme montr sur les photos suivantes Veiller ce que le point d articulation des gouvernes et le point de connexion de la chape sur le guignol correspondent Lors du montage du guignol sur la gouverne de direction veillez ce que sa position corresponde avec les sorties des c bles de commande sur le fuselage Pour coller le stabilisateur sur le fuselage celui ci devra tre correctement align et le contour du fuselage sera report sur le plan fixe avec un crayon feutre Retirer le film de recouvrement sur une surface un peu plus faible que celle d limit e avec le fer souder pour mettre le bois nu Le plan fixe du stabilisateur pourra maintenant tre coll en place Fixer le plan fixe du stabilisateur contre tout risque de d placement jusqu au durcissement de la colle Mettre en place ensuite la d rive et reporter le contour du fuselage sur le plan fixe Retirer galement ici le film de recouvrement avec le

21. c bracket to the fuselage using two pan head self tapping screws Take care to position it exactly on the fuselage centreline Fix the main undercarriage units to the fuselage using the retaining screws provided Once again secure the screws with UHU thread lock fluid The next step is to attach the wheel spats together with the wheels and wheel axles but first the spats have to be trimmed as shown in the photo Take care to produce a handed pair of spats i e they are different left and right The centre of the wheel axle should be drilled about 8 mm above the bottom edge of the spats Attach the wheel axles to the undercarriage units together with the wheels washers and retaining nuts Assembling and installing the fueltank Push a length of fuel tubing onto the fueltank clunk weight Push the free end of the fuel tubing onto one of the tubes in the fueltank stopper and check that the clunk will be able to move freely inside the tank without binding or jamming when the stopper is in place Soften the other two tubes filler and vent using a heat gun or match and bend them to the shape shown in the photo one should point down later used for filling the tank the other up overflow line Extend each with a short piece of fuel tubing so that they reach the top and bottom of the tank respectively Now push the tank stopper over the neck of the fueltank and clamp it in place by tightening the cross head screw It is important to tighten the s

26. difications 10 2006 the thread lock fluid to cure Attach the horns to the elevators and rudder as shown in the next series of pictures Note that the linkage hole in the horns must line up correctly with the hinge pivot axes When installing the rudder horns it is important to ensure that they line up accurately with the exit holes for the rudder cables The covering film must be removed from the joint surfaces before the tailplane can be glued to the fuselage Place the tailplane on the fuselage and adjust its position until it projects by exactly the same amount on both sides and is at right angles to the fuselage centreline when viewed from above Mark the outside shape of the fuselage on the underside of the tailplane using a felt tip pen Remove the covering film from the central area of the tailplane by running a hot soldering iron just inside the marked lines Peel the film away from the wood The tailplane can now be glued to the fuselage Align the tailplane again as described at the start of this section and pin it in place while the glue sets hard When the joint has cured offer up the fin and mark the outline of the fairing on the tailplane Once again remove the film from the joint surface just inside the marked lines after melting it with a soldering iron The fin can now be glued in place permanently using UHU coll Glue the bottom rudder hinge in its slot at the same time Allow the glued joints to set hard then fit th

29. e two elevator servos in their apertures and screw them in place Extend the servo leads using the appropriate extension leads and secure the connectors as already described Fit the clevises on the pushrods and secure each with a drop of UHU thread lock fluid apply the fluid to the threaded end screw the clevis onto the threads and connect the pushrod to the elevator horn and the elevator servo output arm Adjust the length of the pushrods if necessary servo centre elevator neutral then leave the thread lock fluid to cure fully Locate the clevises attached to the rudder cables and connect them to the rudder horns Squeeze the crimp sleeves onto the cables as shown in the photo and tighten the locknuts on the threaded couplers The rudder servo can now be installed in the fuselage Attach the front end of the two pull cables to the double ended servo output lever as shown in the picture Ensure that the rudder and the servo are both at centre before squeezing the crimp sleeves onto the cables and adjusting the clevises as described above The tailwheel unit can now be fixed to the tail end of the fuselage The first step is to glue the two driver lugs into the bottom of the rudder as shown in the photo Slip the tailwheel onto the axle and fit the collet to secure it Secure the grubscrew in the collet with a drop of UHU thread lock fluid Thread the projecting prong of the tailwheel unit through the two driver lugs and attach the plasti
