C a b IN 5 Phono d Die Anzeigen und Symbole des Displays h ngen von der gerade aktiven Quelle und den Einstellungen ab Das Display teilt sich in folgende Bereiche auf e Im Anzeigefeld a wird der Quellenname angezeigt e Die aktuell eingestellte Lautst rke wird im Anzeigefeld b angezeigt e Im Bereich c wird angezeigt welche Anschlussart f r die eingestellte Quelle benutzt wird Erscheint in diesem Bereich die Anzeige XLR ist im Konfigurationsmen die symmetrische Verbindung eingestellt e Das Anzeigefeld d mit der Aussteuerungsanzeige VU Meter wird nur in der Detaildarstellung eingeblendet Das VU Meter dient dazu die Aussteuerung des PA 3000 HV anzuzeigen und zu kontrollieren Diese Anzeige stellt einen gemittelten Ausgangspegel dar Displaysymbole und ihre Bedeutung Zeigt an dass der aktuell gew hlte Eingang auf den symmetrischen XLR XER Anschluss konfiguriert ist 0 0 Positionsanzeige in Men s Die erste Ziffer gibt die aktuelle Position in der Liste die zweite Ziffer die Gesamtzahl der Listeneintr ge L nge der Liste an ABC oder Anzeige der Zeicheneingabe Modi 123 oder abc 10 TA A O amp SOURCE 1 ZA 3 4 SRND 5 PH 6 TIREC O abc def 1 Q ghi jki mno v pars tuv wxyz 7 AT F3000 Fernbedienung Allgemeines Die Tasten der Fernbedienung haben im Allgemeinen die gleiche F

PA 3000 HV PHC NES T A i e VER EEE Mit den Sensortasten und Drehkn pfen an der Ger tefront k nnen alle wichtigen Funktionen des PA 3000 HV bedient werden F r die Quellenwahl und Lautst rkeeinstellung stehen die gro en Drehkn pfe zur Verf gung Seltener ben tigte Funktionen werden ber ein Men bedient welches ber die Taste aufgerufen wird S mtliche Informationen zum Ger tezustand werden auf dem Display angezeigt Im Folgenden werden die Funktionen der Ger tetasten und die Informationen des Displays n her erl utert Ein Ausschalter Kurzes Antippen der Taste schaltet das Ger t ein und aus Um die Bereitschaft des PA 3000 HV anzuzeigen ist die Taste auch im Standby Betrieb schwach beleuchtet Achtung Die Netztaste ist kein Netztrenner Auch wenn das Display abgeschaltet und dunkel ist sind Teile des Gerates mit der Netzspannung verbunden Soll das Ger t l ngere Zeit nicht benutzt werden ist es vorteilhaft das Ger t vom Netz zu trennen Dazu muss der Netzstecker gezogen werden Zum Stromverbrauch siehe auch Kapitel Hinweise zum sparsamen Umgang mit Energie Quellenwahl Durch Drehen dieses Bedienknopfes kann die gew nschte H rquelle eingestellt werden Die ausgew hlte Quelle erscheint im Display Nach einer kurzen Verz gerung schaltet das Ger t auf die ausgew hlte Quelle um Den H rquellen k nnen indivi

Basic settings of the PA 3000 HV The PA 3000 HV features two screen modes You can cycle through the both screen modes listed below by briefly pressing the button on the machine or the button on the F3000 handset e Normal display e Detail display with VU meter average value display with peak value Large format display of the most important information a IN 5 Phono XLR 64 J Display with additional superimposed level indicator VU meter c a b The displays and symbols shown on the screen vary according to the source and settings which are currently active The screen is divided into the following areas e Display area a shows the source name e Display area b shows the volume level currently set e Area c shows the type of connection in use for the set source If the screen shows XLR at this point then a symmetrical connection has been selected in the Configuration menu e Display area d with the level display VU meter is only superimposed if the detail display is selected The purpose of the VU meter is to display and monitor the modulation of the PA 3000 HV This display is a combination of delayed average display plus the peak value measured over the last three seconds Screen symbols and their meaning Indicates that the currently selected input is configured for a symmetrical XLR XLR connection 0 0 Position indicator in Select lists the first

The only available method of entering the name is to use the alpha numeric keypad on the remote control handset For this reason the appropriate menu item only appears if you call up the menu using the Ce 1 button on the F3000 handset or the button on the FD100 If the PA 3000 HV is operated in conjunction with an MP 3000 HV the FD100 remote control handset included with the MP 3000 HV can be used to disable any sources not currently in use if you do this the disabled sources no longer appear in the source menu of the FD100 thereby simplifying the source selection procedure with the FD100 To disable a source navigate to the desired line and press the red button To activate a source press the green button Bi Wiring mode can be used to switch the loudspeaker outputs on and off together for use in the bi wiring arrangement If Bi Wiring mode is switched on speaker outputs A and B are switched together when the loudspeaker buttons or on the machine or the Ca or gp buttons on the F3000 are pressed briefly If Bi Wiring mode is switched off the speaker outputs are switched separately If you do not intend to use bi wiring the function should be switched off The Trigger function of the PA 3000 HV provides a means of switching the device on and off automatically by the presence of a control voltage 5 20V Switching on the trigger voltage also switches the PA 3000 HV on If the control voltage is switched off the PA 300
6. buttons each brief press on a volume button increases or reduces the volume by one increment Holding either volume button pressed in alters the volume continuously You may hear a subdued clicking sound from inside the machine when you adjust the volume or balance this is caused by the gold contact relays Balance is also controlled using the volume knob VOLUME on the amplifier If you wish to alter the balance first press the volume knob until the currently set balance value appears on the screen You can now adjust the balance setting by turning the volume knob to left or right Once the appropriate value is found a long press on the volume knob concludes the procedure and saves the value The F3000 handset can also be used to adjust balance first press the C_ _ button to display the the current balance value the value can now be adjusted using the 4 _ buttons A further brief press on the C_ _ button adopts the value and the Balance window closes 35 Basic settings of the PA 3000 HV Configuration menu In the Configuration menu general device settings are adjusted This menu is described in detail in the following chapter Calling up and operating the menu Sources menu item Source name menu item can only be called up using the F3000 handset 36 handset to call up the menu e Briefly press the button on the front panel or on the remote control e When you open the menu the following Select po

Decoder besitzen den hierf r erforderlichen Trigger Ausgang Dieser kann dazu benutzt werden den PA 3000 HV zusammen mit dem Decoder einzuschalten und gleich die passende Quelle mit der richtigen Lautst rke zu w hlen IN 4 SRND Die Trigger Funktion wird ber das Konfigurationsmen eingestellt Soll die Trigger Funktion im Surroundbetrieb genutzt werden stellen Sie die Trigger Funktion auf IN 4 SRND siehe Kap Grundeinstellungen des PA 3000 HV Recorderaufnahmen mit dem PA 3000 HV 15 Um eine Aufnahme mit einem an den PA 3000 HV angeschlossenen Recorder zu machen w hlen Sie die gew nschte Aufnahmequelle des PA 3000 HV durch Drehen des Quellenwahlknopfes oder der entsprechenden Source Taste der Fernbedienung aus Die Signale dieser Quelle liegen dann an den Recorder Out Buchsen an Starten Sie anschlieBend die Aufnahmefunktion Ihres Recorders Falls Ihr Recorder ber eine Hinterbandkontrolle verf gt k nnen Sie durch Antippen der Taste am Ger t oder durch kurzes Antippen der Taste auf der Fernbedienung die Aufnahme kontrollieren Schutzschaltung Protection Die Protection Schaltung bietet Schutz gegen Kurzschluss Uberhitzung und berlastung Wenn eine St rung auftritt wird das Ausgangssignal abgeschaltet die Tasten der Lautsprecherausg nge GG und beginnen zu blinken und im Display erscheint je nach St rung entweder die Meldung Protection oder Overheat Die Anzeige Overheat signalis
