11. 0 C13 10 A 1 Protect NAS 64 6 COMMISSIONING 6 1 INSTALLATION Observe the following when installing the UPS system The installation area must be smooth surfaced as well as sturdy and stable enough to prevent vibrations and impacts Ensure sufficient load bearing capacity Install the units in a way that ensures sufficient air circulation En sure a clearance of at least 100 mm at the rear for ventilation purposes Do not block air intakes on the front or sides of the de vice Ensure a clearance of at least 50 mm in these areas Avoid extreme temperatures We recommend an ambient tem perature of 0 35 C ideal room temperature to maximize the service life of the batteries Do not expose the units to direct sunlight or operate them near other sources of heat such as ra diators Protect units against external influences especially moisture and dust ingress n this regard also observe the information in Chapter 3 2 pages 57 to 60 of these operating instructions f the device is brought from a cold room into a vvarm room or if the room temperature suddenly drops condensation may form on the inside of the device To prevent the formation of condensation allovv the device to stand for 2 hours before svvitching it on 65 6 2 MAINS CONNECTION Check that the UPS nominal input voltage is compatible vvith the nominal voltage that applies in your country The output voltage p
