When the Confirm New PIN message displays enter the same code again and press the OK soft key If you enter an incorrect PUK ten times in succession the SIM card becomes invalid Contact your service provider for a new card 188 Access Codes PIN2 The PIN2 4 to 8 digits supplied with some SIM cards is required to access specific functions such as setting the maximum cost of a call These functions are available if supported by your SIM card If you enter an incorrect PIN2 three times in succession the code is disabled and you cannot access the functions until you re enable it by entering the PUK2 To change the PIN2 see page 147 Menu 7 6 8 PUK2 The 8 digit PUK2 PIN Unblocking Key 2 supplied with some SIM cards is required to change a disabled PIN2 If you lose the code contact your service provider To re enable your PIN2 1 Enter the PUK2 and press the OK soft key 2 Enter a new PIN2 of your choice and press the OK soft key 3 When the Confirm PIN2 message displays enter the same code again and press the OK soft key If you enter an incorrect PUK2 ten times in succession you will not be able to access the functions requiring the PIN2 Contact your service provider for a new card A Access Codes Barring Password A 4 digit barring password is required when you use the Call Barring function You can obtain the password from your service provider when you subscribe to this function

Camera The following options are available Effects allows you to change the colour tone or apply special effects to the picture When you select an option the display shows your setting and prompts you to confirm it Press the Select soft key Frames allows you to use a frame Select a frame from the list Press the View soft key to check the selected frame and the Select soft key to use it Multi Shot allows you to take action stills Select the capture speed to High Speed or Normal Speed and the number of pictures for the camera to take When you press the Take soft key the camera takes pictures successively After taking pictures press the Save All soft key to save all of them or the Save soft key to save a selected one Rotation rotates the picture You can reverse the picture as a mirror image or flip the picture vertically Self Timer allows you to have a delay time before the camera takes the picture Select the length of time you want When you press the Take soft key the camera takes the picture after the specified time Photo Size allows you to select a picture size Once you change this setting it is saved for the next shot Photo Quality allows you to change the image quality Once you change this setting it is saved for the next shot A Camera My Photos menu 5 2 This menu allows you to review your pictures When you access this menu your phone displays them in Thumbnail mode which

Entry option in the Phonebook menu Storing a Number in I dle Mode As soon as you start to enter a number Save appears above the left soft key to allow you to store the number in Phonebook 1 Enter the number you want stored Note If you make a mistake while entering a number correct it using the C key For further details see page 23 2 When you are sure that it is correct press the Save soft key 3 Select an icon to identify the category of the number to be stored Three categories are available Mobile phone number G2 Office number Home number To select the category press the Left or Right key and press the Select soft key Phonebook Select a memory location either SIM or Phone by pressing the Up or Down key and press the Select soft key Note When you change phones any numbers stored in your SIM card memory are automatically available with the new phone whereas any numbers stored in the phone s memory must be reentered Enter a name and press the OK soft key The maximum length you can enter for a name depends on your SIM card For further details about how to enter characters see page 44 If you do not want to save the number and name in the suggested location press the C key to clear the location number and enter another location by pressing the number keys Press the OK soft key to store the name and number After storing the phone displays the Phonebook entr

Paste allows you to paste the number into the normal dialling mode Use this option to dial a number similar to one in Phonebook such as a different extension in the same office Use the C key to change the number as required see page 23 for further details When you are ready to dial press the key Edit allows you to edit the name and number Select One Entry to change the name and or number for the selected entry If you change the name the number is saved separately with the new name Select All Entry to change only the name of the entry Delete allows you to delete the selected number from Phonebook You are asked to confirm that you wish to delete the name and number by pressing the Yes soft key A Phonebook Copy allows you to copy the number to another location You can select the memory and the location number Caller Group allows you to organise your Phonebook entries in caller groups so that the phone alerts you in a specific way when a person from one of your groups calls you Select one of the ten groups available To remove an entry from a group select the No Group option For further details about how to change caller group properties see page 39 Add Entry allows you to add a new number to the currently selected name Send via IrDA allows you to send all entries or one entry of the selected name to other IrDA compatible phones For further details see page 139 Phonebook Sea
