5. an check the file in right window VII Power Supply a USB Mode Bus Power or Self Power Usually under USB mode Bus Power can support hardware work normally If your HDD needs more than 500mA to function or it works unstably while using only the USB Bus power you should apply the extemal power supply to this unit a Connect the USB extended power jack 1 Connect the HDD installed enclosure to your computer s USB FW port with the USB2 0 multiple FW cable 2 Connect the red color of USB extended power jack which bee mounted on the enclosed USB2 0 multiple cable to your computer s the other USB port Pasa uas b e SATA Mode Self Power Under e SATA mode the eSATA cable has not power to supply the hardware it need supply the hardware it need supply the power from USB cable Please follow the step as below to supply the power to enclosure 1 Connect the HDD installed enclosure to your computer s eSATA port with eSATA cable 2 Connect the HDD installed enclosure to your computer s USB FW port with the USB2 0 multiple FW cable 3 If the enclosure still can t work normally please connect the red color of USB extended power jack which been mounted on the enclosed USB2 0 multiple cable to your computer s the other USB port Prisa do courant usb Couleur ROUGE prsa usn cavi esata Note When eSATA cable and USB cable connect the enclosure and PC together the enclosure will be identify and enter eSATA mode first if e
6. nclosure is use under USB mode it will exit automatically and enter eSATA mode VIII Remove an enclosure Warning Before removing the USB cable you must finish the following procedure 1 Click the icon with right button of the mouse 2 Safely remove will appear and select it 3 Storage device will be safely removed from the system will appear then confirm it by clicking 4 Power off the adapter if it is applied Now you can remove the USB cable safely Use the SATA eSATA cable Maybe your system has not standard eSATA port to supply the eSATA cable please follow the steps as below to install 1 Tur off the power to your computer and any other connected peripheral devices Discharge any static electricity built up in your body by touching a grounded metal surface such as the plugged in computer case During the installation procedure avoid any contact with the computer s intemal parts 2 Unplug the power cord from the back of the computer 3 Remove the computer s cover 4 Remove one of the L shape metal cover from the back of the PC case 5 Plug the SATA port of the SATA eSATA cable in the SATA 7 pin connector in main board and install the eSATA port with L shape metal to the slot secure it with screw 6 Replace the computer s cover and reconnect the power and any other extemal cable 7 Connect the eSATA cable to eSATA port and enclosure pree SATA oe ble wBATA port eBATA Note
