Model ZVS 280 Ts E ge S OWNERS MANUAL Remote Controlled Keyless Entry Immobiliser System 12 03 ZVS 280 Thank you for purchasing the ZVS 280 Keyless Entry Immobiliser System Please carefully read this Owners Manual to familiarise yourself with the operation of this system The ZVS 280 can also be upgraded to a full house alarm system which includes door boot and bonnet protection It also includes a dual stage shock sensor which detects light and heavy impact to the vehicles body For further information regarding this upgrade please speak to your authorised installer CONTENTS Arming locking Disarming Unlocking Page 2 Standard Features Page 3 Selectable Features Override Procedure Page 4 Arming Lockin Press Button 1 on the remote transmitter the indicators or parking lights will flash once and the doors will lock optional Vehicle will be immobilised if starter disable is connected optional The dash mounted LED will begin to flash once per second Remote Transmitter LED indicator Green Button 1 Arm Lock Button 2 Disarm Unlock Disarming Unlockin Press Button 2 on the remote transmitter the indicators or parking lights will flash twice and the doors will unlock optional Immobiliser will be deactivated if starter disable is connected optional The dash mounted LED will stop flashing FEATURES Starter Disable Immobiliser Once the2. Keyless Entry Immobiliser system is activated the vehicle will be immobilised The starter motor circuit will be interrupted Panic Car Finder When activated the indicators or parking lights will flash continuously To activate the Panic Car Finder feature press and hold Button 1 for two seconds To deactivate this feature press Button 2 LED The dash mounted LED will flash at a rate of once per second once the Keyless Entry Immobiliser is activated Valet Service Mode Valet Service mode disables the Immobiliser system To activate Valet Service mode turn the ignition ON close all the vehicles doors and press and hold Button 2 for two seconds The indicators or parking lights will flash once and the LED will turn solid Red to indicate the system is in Valet Service Mode To deactivate Valet Service mode turn the ignition ON close all the doors and press and hold Button 2 for two seconds The indicators or parking lights will flash twice and the LED will turn OFF to indicate that Valet Service mode has been deactivated Omni Lock The vehicles doors can be locked and unlocked by using the remote transmitter whilst the ignition is on Note Vehicle must be equipped with central locking Last Stage Arming Memory If the Keyless Entry Immobiliser System is armed and the vehicle s battery is disconnected when the battery is re connected the Immobiliser system will remain armed Remote Con

4. trol Code Learning The Keyless Entry Immobiliser System can hold up to four Remote Controls At any time a lost or stolen remote transmitter can be deleted from memory by your authorised installer Locking Outputs If your vehicle is equipped with central locking the Immobiliser system can be connected so the doors will lock when the Immobiliser is armed and unlock when disarmed Remote Boot Release Press and hold Button 2 for two seconds to activate this feature Vehicle must contain electronic boot release for this feature to work Optional Features Additional parts and labour may be required SELECTABLE FEATURES The features listed below may be configured at the time of installation These features can only be programmed by your authorised installer Ignition Safety Door Lock Unlock If all doors are closed when the ignition key is turned to the ON position after 5 seconds all the doors will lock Note Central Locking is required for this feature When the key is turned OFF all the doors will unlock Factory setting is OFF Safety Re arm If the Keyless Entry Immobiliser system is accidentally disarmed whilst walking away from your vehicle and providing no doors are opened within 30 seconds the Keyless Entry Immobiliser will automatically re arm and the doors will lock Note The doors will only lock if the vehicle is equipped with central locking Factory setting is OFF OVERRIDE PROCEDURE Importa
