5. dishwasher is tumed on and the door is closed securely Make sure the power cord is properly plugged into the wall socket Check that the water supply is connected property and Make sure to close the door properly and latch it Check drain hose Check the filter see section titled Cleaning The Filter Check the kitchen sink to make sure it is draining well If the problem is the kitchen sink not draining you may need a plumber rather than a serviceman for dishwashers Use only the special dishwasher detergent to avoid suds If this occurs open the dishwasher and let suds evaporate Add 1 gallon of cold water to the tub Close and latch the dishwasher then select any cycle Dishwasher will drain out the water at the first step_Open the door after the draining has stopped and check if the suds have disappeared Repeat if necessary Always wipe up rinse aid spills immediately Make sure the detergent is the one without colourant To clean the interior use a damp sponge with dishwasher detergent and wear rubber gloves Never use any other cleaner than dishwasher detergent for the risk of foaming or suds The items should be comosion resistant Residentia 22 Troubleshooting amp Technical Data Knocking noise in the wash cabinet Rattling noise in the wash cabinet Noise Knocking noise in the water pipes The dishes are not clean Unsatis factory washing result Cloudiness on glassware Black or gray

8. in doubt as to whether your dishwasher is grounded properly Never modify the plug supplied with the appliance If the plug doesn t fit the outlet have a licenced and suitably qualified electrician install the correct outlet Do not abuse sit on or stand on the door or dish rack of the dishwasher Do not touch the heating element during or immediately after use This instruction is only applicable to machines with a visual heating element Do not operate your dishwasher unless all enclosure panels are properly in place Open the door very carefully if the dishwasher is operating there is a risk of water squirting out Donot place any heavy objects on or stand on the door when it is open The appliance could tip forward When loading items to be washed 1 Locate sharp items so that they are not likely to damage the door seal 2 Warning Knives and other utensils with sharp points must be loaded in the basket with their points down or placed in a horizontal position When using your dishwasher you should prevent plastic items from coming into contact with the heating element This instruction is only applicable to machines with a visual heating element Check that the detergent compartment is empty after completion of the wash cycle Donot wash plastic items unless they are marked dishwasher safe or the equivalent For plastic items not so marked check the manufacturer s recommendations

20. n the power is switched on Power Button To turn the dishwasher on off Half Load Indicator This indicator shows when the half load indicator is switched on Note The Half Load option can only be used with selected wash programs i e the Rapid program cannot be used with half load 10 Extra Drying Indicator This indicator shows when the extra dry option has been selected When used the dishwasher will use an increased temperature during the final rinse to maximise the drying Note This does involve a slight increase to the energy consumption ON The rinse aid is released during the final rinse to prevent water from forming droplets on your dishes which can leave spots and streaks It also improves drying by allowing water to roll off the dishes Your dishwasher is designed to use liquid rinse aids The rinse aid dispenser is located inside the door next to the detergent dispenser To fill the dispenser open the cap and pour the rinse aid into the dispenser until the level indicator turns completely black The volume of the rinse aid container is about 110ml Warning Only use specific Rinse Aid branded products and never fill the rinse aid dispenser with other substances and they may damage the dishwasher lf there is no rinse aid warning light in the control panel you can judge the amount of rinse aid by the color of the optical level indicator C located next to the cap When the rinse aid container is full the wh

22. ole indicator will be dark As the rinse aid diminishes the size of the dark dot decreases You should never let the rinse aid get below 1 4 full C Rinse Aid indicator User Manual 13 Operating Your Dishwasher Adjusting the rinse aid dispenser To open the dispenser turn the cap to the open arrow anti clockwise and lift out 1 Pour the rinse aid into the dispenser being careful not to overfill 2 Replace the cap by inserting it aligned with the open arrow and turn clockwise 3 Warning Be careful not to overfill the dispenser and wipe up any excess spilt with a damp cloth Any residual rinse aid can cause excess foaming during the next wash The rinse aid dispenser has six or four settings Always start with the dispenser set on 4 If spots and poor drying are a problem increase the amount of rinse aid dispensed by removing the dispenser lid and rotating the dial to 5 If the dishes are still not drying properly or are showing spots adjust the dial to the next higher lever until your dishes are spot free The recommended setting is 4 Factory value is 4 Adjust lever Rinse Increase the dose of rinse aid if there are drops of water or lime spots on the dishes after washing Reduce it if there are sticky whitish stains on your dishes or a film on your glassware or cutlery Residentia 14 Operating Your Dishwasher Detergents Detergents with its chemical ingredients are n
23. r chemicals will clog the spray arm jets and bearings To remove the upper spray arm hold the nut and rotate the arm clockwise to remove To remove the lower spray arm pull the spray arm upwards as per the diagram below Wash the arms in warm soapy water and use a brush to clean the jets Replace the spray arms after rinsing thoroughly General care instructions for your dishwasher After every wash leave the door slightly open so that moisture and odours are not trapped inside Before performing maintenance or cleaning always switch off at the power outlet and remove the plug To clean the exterior and rubber door seals of the dishwasher never use solvents or abrasive cleaning products Warm soapy water should always be sufficient or for stubborn stains only use specialty cleaning products specifically made for dishwashers When your dishwasher won t be used for a long period of time it is recommended that you run a wash cycle with the dishwasher empty and then leave the dishwasher door slightly open Also unplug the dishwasher from the power socket When moving the appliance always try to ensure it is kept in the vertical position If absolutely necessary it can be positioned on it s back One of the factors that can cause odours to form is residual food that remains trapped in the seals Periodic cleaning with a soft damp cloth as described above will prevent this from occuring User Manual 2 Troubleshooting amp
