1. Enter the right hour using the controls shown in the box at the end of this paragpaph Setting the Date If the GL112 is fitted with an RS232 serial output you will be able to set the date by following below instructions Not available in all softeware versions 1 During normal operation press The display now shows Set 2 Now press the 5 key several times until the display shows DAtE During normal operation the GL112 will immediately send data to the PC printer using the current set print mode see paragraph RS232 print modes If the Print mode is set to On Demand the display will not send any data until 4 is pressed during normal operation The data is sent to the PC printer as follows 01 12 12 05 23 39 0 00 02 Link Id the date time load batt status Note The oadlink s battery status orange is shown as 01 OK O2 low 03 flat 1 Enter the Print setup mode The display will now show the current programmed print mode eg OFF 3 Press 4 to scroll through the print modes These will be displayed as 4 After you have chosen the right engineering unit press The display will flash donE and the GL112 will return to normal operation 5 Press to apply The display now shows MM_0 J 6 Enter the right minute using the controls shown in the box at the end of this paragraph 7 Press to apply The display will flash donE and the GL112 will return to norm

Water Weights GL112 Setup amp Programming Instructions Important note Setup changes and programming is only allowed to be performed by authorized people If in doubt please contact your local Water Weights agent Entering the Setup Modes The GL112 remote display unit has three or two programming modes which can be entered by using key combinations during the startup process of the GL unit The General Setup mode can be entered with The Enginering Units Setup mode with 4 The Print Setup mode can be entered with To enter one of the programming modes of the GL112 pleas follow the following steps Resetting the hooktare to zero To reset the hooktare to zero follow the next steps 1 Enter the General Setup mode The display will now show Par 3 Please note that the LE load link or shackle MUST BE turned on with ZERO load applied for this function Set sleep time To set the sleep time see paragraph power saving mode on the operating instructions sheet This sleep time period can be set from 0 90 minutes When set to 0 minutes the GL display will never go to sleep 1 Enter the General Setup mode 2 The display will now show Par Setting the Link ID To set the link ID see paragraph checking the system on the operating instructions sheet The Link ID can be set on any number between 1 16 Or 1 9 on older systems n 1 Enter the General Setup mode 2 The displa

4. he engineering units These will be displayed as tonn LbS Ston 4 After you have chosen the right engineering unit press to apply The display will flash donE and the GL112 will return to normal operation RS232 Printing If the GL112 is fitted with an RS232 serial output the unit can print to an RS232 printer or a PC using any RS232 compatible communication software like Hyper Terminal A communication cable has been provided with the load cell The communication settings of the software must be set as per below settings Baudrate 4800 Parity NO Data Bits 8 Stop bits 1 RS232 Print modes If the GL112 is fitted with an RS232 serial output you will be able to set the print mode by following below instructions There are four or three print modes available OFF No printing ES Print on demand Print Printer setting 60 sec interval PC Pc setting 2 sec interval Note The Print on demand mode and date and time setting are not available in all software versions Setting the Clock If the GL112 is fitted with an RS232 serial output you will be able to set the clock by following below instructions Not available in all softeware versions 1 During normal operation press The display now shows Set 2 Now press B several times until the display shows CLOC 3 Press to enter the clock setting mode The display now shows HH 0 4
5. y will now show Par Setting the engineering units The GL112 display provides readout in Metric Tonnes Short Tonnes and LBS To change the engineering units please follow below instructions 1 Enter the Engineering units setup mode 2 The display will now show the current programmed engineering units eg tonn 1 Turn off the GL112 using the off key Now press and hold the key combination for the required setup mode 3 While holding the key combination switch on the GL112 using the on key 4 Now follow instructions for the selected setup mode Note The print setup mode is not available in all software versions and is also depending whether the GL112 is equipped wit an RS232 serial output 4 Press to reset the hooktare The display will alternate donE and fora few seconds Where is equal to the previous hooktare value After this the display will stay blank 5 Press to return to normal operation Press The Icd shows SLEEP To INCREASE the sleep timer press A To DECREASE the sleep timer press When finished press The display will show donE 7 Press to return to normal operation D R Press B The Icd shows Id To INCREASE the link ID press A To DECREASE the link ID press When finished press The display will show donE 7 Press to return to normal operation Oy G1 oP O 3 Press B several times to scroll through t
