OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS FOR DIPLO MODELS gn RECHNOMAY LE EEF amp FR IMPORTANT All the safes mod DIPLO have been set up with the following combination 11 SAFE OPENING Set the above combinations by turning the hand wheels clockwise from the left to the right open the door turning with a double locking COMBINATION CHANGE with bolts retracted 1 Turn knob P into position 1 see fig 2 with the head of the key or with a coin 2 Set anew combination turning hand wheels A B C clockwise se fig 1 3 Reset the knob P into position 2 In this way the new combination is set ATTENTION After any new combination and before locking the safe we recommend to carry out a test of the lock opening with the DOOR OPEN 4 Then disarrange the hand wheels to make it secret RETRIEVING A COMBINATION WHICH HAS BEEN LOST DUE TO A SETTING ERROR OR FORGOTTEN Naturally this operation can only be carried out with the safe door open 1 Turn the three wheels anti clockwise until they reach the stop 2 Concentrate on the uppermost of the three little holes which appear vertically inside the door of the safe and turn the corresponding wheel until a horizontal line appears an the hole see fig 3 Repeat the operation with the other two vertical holes Once all three holes contain a horizontal line the combination device has been released and the lock can therefore be opened You will now be able to set a new combination fo2. llowing the enclosed instructions PIC 1
