SS a VIRA IMMERSION SUIT USER MANUAL This immersion suit is manufactured in accordance with the SOLAS 74 83 convention and IMO Standard for working on board of ship or offshore platform in cold and adverse circumstances to save life It consists of hands arms hood jacket and pants joints together The immersion suit covers whole human body except face and has floating watertight and thermal insulation features t s equipped with whistle light and zipper silicone but need to wear approved lifejacket in water Main performance 1 Waterproof performance Water permability amount is less than 200 g on water in one hour 2 Floating performance The user should turn over within 5 seconds face mouth toward up 120 mm min above the water level After 24 hours submerging in water floating loss should be less than 5 3 Thermal insulated performance The user goes into the water of 0 2 C after 6 hours body temparature should not lower less than 2 C Temparature of hands and feet skin should not lower than 10 C 4 User should wear the suit max 2 minutes on normal condition but in reasonable time on 30 C temparature 5 The suit resists on diesel derivatives Wearing instructions 4 Put legs into pants of immersion suit 2 Put arms into immersion suit and cover the hood 3 Zip up zipper if need use silicone for zipper 4 Check immersion suit light and whistle Maintenance 1 The immersion suit should be stored at2. ventilated cool and dry place It should be protected from high temparature sun light acid alkali salt oil and heavy weight press 2 The immersion suit should be protected from sharp materials to avoid damaging mouse and rodents 3 If the suit is worn often it should be dry after turned out as periodically lt s being used to wash neutral soap and soft brush After washing clean water rinse and let it to being dry DO NOT DRY CLEAN 4 Let the suit dry ventilated for 24 hours at each 6 months 5 After 10 years it should be check every year by service
