6. fault indicates that the control system has tried to heat the seal elements but the temperature feedback has not indicated that it has reached the target temperature Ensure Parameter P12 is not set too low should be greater than 8 seconds No heat demand During sequence the Seal function is active but the temperature board reports it is at temperature all the time Fault on Opening The Sealing bar opening movement has been stopped This fault occurs after E2 And indicates the fault is specific to the opening movement This can also indicate a position sensor fault If in doubt switch the machine off wait 20 seconds then turn it back on This will force a complete reset and may clear the fault Position sensor 1 If this fault follows an E2 Fault then failure this indicates a blockage on closing the heat bars Carry out the action listed for the E2 Fault lf this fault occurs on applying power to 18 SYCHEM SIGNUM Operators Only Manual Ver 1 0 Issue 1 SIGNUM Ver1 0 Operators Manual 5 USER MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS 5 1 Maintenance Schedule The following schedule describes the maintenance schedule Monthly Annually Clean Clean the Lid inside and out Clean the top of the mechanism with the Lid removed PAT Test lt is recommended that the equipment X and cordset are PAT tested Note All moving parts are sealed for life and do not need any additional lubrication 19
