1. Pull out the black tripod straps tucked under the beltpack Bottom of Orion AW bottom x 2 Put your tripod though the loops and tighten the tripod S by pulling the straps See Figure 14 z M0002
2. the quick release side buckle 4 Repeat steps 2 and 3 for opposite side of beltpack 5 Re adjust the beltpack and tighten the waistbelt by pulling forward on the straps so that the weight rests on your hips Figure 10 6 Tighten the shoulder harness by pulling on the straps until the pack feels comfortable The beltpack should remain on your hips even after the shoulder harness is adjusted See Figure 10 Over gt gt lowepro ORION AW USING THE BELTPACK ALL WEATHER COVER AW The patented All Weather Cover protects the beltpack and your equipment from dust sand rain or snow It also works as a protective sheet for sorting through your gear when the ground is wet or muddy Note The DayPack does not include an AW Cover To use the beltpack AW Cover 1 Take the All Weather Cover out of its storage compartment located under the front pocket of your beltpack Figure 11 2 Place the wide elastic band facing up See Figure 11 Pull the top of the AW cover over the top of the beltpack and secure it around the edges Figure 12 3 Pull the part of the AW cover joined by the wide elastic band all the way to the back and the bottom of the beltpack See Figure 12 Pull the quick release side buckles through the cover slots so you can attach the DayPack or shoulder strap See Figure 13 m ea Fl 2 i USING THE TRIPOD MOUNT A tripod can be attached horizontally along the bottom of the beltpack 1
3. en the shoulder harness on the DayPack 4 Put the DayPack on your back Fasten the waistbelt Do not tighten yet ighten the harness by pulling on the shoulder harness straps downward until the pack feels comfortable The beltpack should remain on your hips even after the shoulder harness is adjusted See Figure 7 6 Tighten the waistbelt by pulling on the belt adjustment straps so that the weight rests on your hips See Figure 1 ORION AW 7 Tighten the BatWing straps by pulling on the straps to stabilize the load These straps stabilize the load and pull it forward towards your lower back See Figure 2 8 Connect and tighten the sternum strap by pulling the strap This sternum strap reduces shoulder fatigue and increases mobility by pulling the shoulder harness inward You can change the vertical position so that the strap fits comfortably across your chest See Figure 8 Vertical adjustments on both sides ACCESS EQUIPMENT WHEN USING DAYPACK 1 Reach back on both sides and release the quick release side buckles that are connecting the DayPack to the beltpack See Figure 6 2 Loosen the waistbelt slightly and rotate the beltpack to the front of the your body to access equipment See Figure 4 RE ATTACHING BELTPACK AND DAYPACK 1 Loosen both sides of DayPack shoulder harness 2 Rotate beltpack back to where the quick release side buckle is within view See Figure 9 Figure 9 3 Re attach

5. t strong and durable and the laminate protects delicate camera and lens surfaces from scratches All of your accessories from filters to cable releases are easily visible and accessible Extra storage pockets are located on the top of the beltpack and in the BatWing s for more accessory storage jowepro ADJUSTING THE BELTPACK 1 Remove the DayPack and shoulder strap from the beltpack 2 Put the beltpack on your waist 3 Tighten the waistbelt by pulling on the belt adjustment straps so that the weight rests on your hips See Figure 1 4 Tighten the BatWing straps to stabilize the load and pull it forward towards your lower back See Figure 2 5 Use the shoulder strap and the waistbelt for better weight distribution and security Most of the load should be carried on your hips with the shoulder strap providing additional support See Figure 3 6 To access gear loosen the waistbelt by relaxing the webbing on the quick release buckle Rotate the pack around to the front and let the shoulder strap drop forward See Figure 4 ADJUSTING THE BELTPACK WITH DAYPACK 1 Place the DayPack on top of the beltpack Ensure the Lowepro logos on both the beltpack and DayPack are facing the same direction Assemble before placing pack on your back See Figure 5 2 Attach the DayPack to the beltpack with the quick release side buckles See Figure 6 Remove the shoulder strap from beltpack if it is attached 3 Loos
