1. or TOPCON Quick Guide Operating Instructions for the Topcon Automatic Level e Mount the instrument on a roughly levelled tripod e Turn the levelling screws until the bubble of the circular level vial is in the centre of the circle See pictures A amp B e Put your hand in front of the objective EN lens whilst looking through the level and Picture B turn the telescope eyepiece until the cross hairs are sharp amp focussed see picture C e Rotate the telescope until the sighting collimator is pointing at the staff see picture D e Looking through the level turn the telescope focus knob until the staff is in focus see picture E e Turn the fine horizontal knob until the cross hairs are on the staff and take a Picture D level reading See picture F Picture F
