1. e g having no outstanding fines or charges e Your home library will issue you with a M25 Access and Borrowing Scheme card which will be valid for one year from the date of issue or until your course or contract ends if earlier e tis always best to contact the library libraries you wish to join before visiting to check opening hours and any additional membership requirements e g you may need to complete another application form at your library of choice supply a photo for your library card e Take your M25 Access and Borrowing Scheme card and your library ID card from your home institution along with you to your chosen library libraries The library you are visiting will register you and help you access the materials you need And remember You undertake to abide by the regulations of the library you wish to use You will be responsible for any fines or replacement costs incurred Membership may be withdrawn from any user of the M25 Access and Borrowing Scheme who infringes regulations Levels of access and use of collections vary between libraries and their collections IT facilities electronic library services are not included within this M25 Access scheme Personal data supplied by you will be used only for the purposes of administering the scheme including the transfer of data between home and host libraries and vice versa March 20122. l 2 5 M25 Access and Borrowing Scheme User Guide CONSORTIUM OF ACADEMIC LIBRARIES The M25 Consortium of Academic Libraries supports access to libraries for research students and staff from it s member institutions For many staff and students especially our university and college members library access is offered via the SCONUL ACCESS Scheme For staff and research students from the following society specialist and national libraries the M25 Consortium offers an access scheme especially for you British Library British Museum Horniman Museum Imperial War Museum Institute of Development Studies Lambeth Palace Library mm q National Museum Royal Botanic Gardens Kew Royal Society of Chemistry Science Museum Victoria and Albert Museum 29 The Wiener Library for the Study of the Holocaust amp Genocide ACCES Wellcome Library R ESEAR CHER Capetans PLEASE ANE gated Which libraries can access There are 57 member institutions in the London and South East region that offer library access and limited borrowing where available To check which libraries are part of the access scheme use our online visit a library guide at www inform25 ac uk or ask your librarian want to visit another library what do I do e You first need to complete a M25 Access and Borrowing Scheme application form available from your home institution library You must be registered as a library user and be in good standing
