Registration and refreshments Introduction to SATRA and outline of the day Footwear troubleshooting chen voubiashootng problems discolouration mould odours adhesion a chemical approach ie Laboratory tours and Members only demonstrations 4th March and repeated on 12th August 2014 aia pen Kettering UK ee The impact of rubber formulations An overview of REACH legislation SATRA will be hosting a one day seminar to discuss chemical 4 Restricted substances lists problems associated with footwear This will be held twice during the year on the 4th March and 12th August The focus of each seminar will be on typical chemistry related footwear problems such as discolouration odours or restricted chemicals Possible solutions and prevention methods will also be discussed The aim of this event is to provide members with an opportunity to interact directly with SATRA experts and to gain a useful insight into footwear problems due to chemical effects Individual consultation with SATRA staff if required The morning session is divided into several short presentations that s GBP 50 plus VAT will be delivered by a number of different speakers Laboratory tours will be included and these will involve some simple testing demonstrations There will be opportunities for questions throughout the day and during the complimentary buffet lunch This event is aimed at technologists involved in footwear manufacture or sup
