1. g INVERTER FUSION LTD DIGITAL INVERTER WELDING TECHNOLOGY Fusion Clean Electrolytic Weld Cleaning Machine Operating Instructions Y Made in Britain 1 General The Fusion Clean machine is intended to be used for cleaning stainless steel aluminium amp other metals after welding It is a single phase machine which runs off either a 230v or 110v supply depending on the model It is IP23 rated so can be used in areas of dust and damp but is not waterproof N B Always wear suitable eye protection gloves amp protective clothing whilst operating the machine amp handling the fluids 2 Setting Up The red lead should be connected from the Positive terminal on the cleaner and clipped onto the work to be cleaned The black lead should be connected from the Negative terminal on the cleaner to the brush 3 Cleaning e Set the High Low switch to low amber LED for stainless steel or high green LED for aluminium e Set the Clean Polish switch to clean amber LED e Dip the brush into the cleaning solution switch the machine On and clean the work using a gentle painting motion N B do not jab the brush against the metal as this will damage the bristles e Spray with water amp wipe to remove any excess fluid Rinse the brush with water 4 Polishing e Set the High Low switch to low amber LED for stainless steel or high green LED for aluminium e Set the Clean Polish s2. short press the black button in on the front of the machine to reset the trip e Never use leads other than those supplied and do not extend the supplied leads this could cause overheating and risk of fire e Do not operate the switches whilst cleaning polishing is in progress as this may cause internal damage 8 After sales Service amp Warranty Should you have any problems with the set up or operation of your Fusion Clean machine please feel free to contact us on 01404 549791 and our experienced engineers will be happy to give you advice and assistance Your Fusion Clean machine is covered by a comprehensive 3 year parts and labour warranty in the event of a breakdown please contact us on 01404 549791 Designed and manufactured in Britain by INVERTER FUSION LTD Inverter Fusion Ltd Heathpark Way Heathpark Industrial Park Honiton Devon EX14 1BB Tel 01404 549791 Fax 01404 46718 Email sales inverterfusion co uk Web www inverterfusion co uk
3. witch to polish green LED e Dip the brush into the polishing solution switch the machine On and polish the work using a gentle painting motion N B do not jab the brush against the metal as this will damage the bristles e Spray with water amp wipe to remove any excess fluid Rinse the brush with water 5 Embossing Marking e Set the High Low switch to high the green LED will light up e Set the Clean Polish switch to clean amber LED e Position your stencil where you want the embossing to appear e Dip the brush into the embossing solution switch the machine On and wipe the brush gently over the stencil taking care not to touch the surrounding metal until the markings appear in black e Spray with water and wipe to remove any excess solution then remove the stencil 6 Notes e The leads cleaning tools and work piece can become very warm during use this is normal and not a fault of the machine e Sparks will be generated during the cleaning process this is normal and they are not harmful 7 Caution e Use in a well ventilated area and do not inhale the fumes given off by the cleaning and polishing process e The sparks generated during the cleaning process are not harmful but they could ignite flammable gas so make sure any nearby gas cylinders or appliances are free from leaks e If the leads are accidentally shorted out the unit will trip If this occurs wait 5 minutes and after removing the
