Page 5 www pipe2000 co uk www pipe2000 co uk Notes on Safety 1 Read all notes on safety before operating tool Observe the notes during use and always keep them with the tool 2 The tool is suitable for preparation of compression sleeve joints supplied by PIPE2000 Ltd only Do not use the tool for other purposes 3 Be careful not to damage the hydraulic hose Also check the hydraulic hose before use of the tool Never work with a damaged hydraulic hose 4 Only allow repairs and maintenance to be carried out by authorised persons PIPE2000 Ltd will reject any responsibility or liability for work undertaken by unauthorised personnel Only operate the tool with original parts and accessories Keep your workplace tidy and free of obstructions Make sure there is always sufficient light Always wear suitable work clothes safety footwear gloves and safety glasses Keep unauthorised persons children and pets away from your workplace Store the tool in dry condition 10 The tool must be cleaned and dried before storage Trouble Shooting If the tool cylinder does not move immediately when the pump is actuated the hydraulic circuit must be vented For this purpose lower down the tool cylinder place the pump in upright position and operate the tool several times The oil level is to be checked and oil must be topped up if required Make sure that the pump is not overfilled Page 6 www pipe2000 co uk
