1. HOW TO CHANGE A PARAMETER VALUE To change the parameter s value operate as follows 1 Enter the Programming mode by pressing the SET 57 keys for 3s C or F LED starts blinking 2 Select the required parameter Press the SET key to display its value 3 Use A or YW to change its value 4 Press SET to store the new value and move to the following parameter To exit Press SET A or wait 15s without pressing a key NOTE the set value is stored even when the procedure is exited by waiting the time out to expire The hidden menu includes all the parameters of the instrument HOW TO ENTER THE HIDDEN MENU 1 Enter the Programming mode by pressing the SET 57 keys for 3s C or F LED starts blinking 2 Released the keys then push again the SET 57 keys for more than 7s The L2 label will be displayed immediately followed from the Hy parameter NOW YOU ARE IN THE HIDDEN MENU Select the required parameter Press the SET key to display its value Use A or 7 to change its value Press SET to store the new value and move to the following parameter To exit Press SET A or wait 15s without pressing a key NOTE1 if none parameter is present in L1 after 3s the nP message is displayed Keep the keys pushed till the L2 message is displayed NOTE2 the set value is stored even when the procedure is exited by waiting the time out to expire HOW TO MOVE A PARAMETER FROM THE HIDD

EN MENU TO THE FIRST LEVEL AND VICEVERSA Each parameter present in the HIDDEN MENU can be removed or put into THE FIRST LEVEL user level by pressing SET 57 In HIDDEN MENU when a parameter is present in First Level the decimal point is on TO LOCK THE KEYBOARD 1 Keep pressed for more than 3s the A and 7 keys 2 The OF message will be displayed and the keyboard will be locked If a key is pressed more than 3s the OF message will be displayed TO UNLOCK THE KEYBOARD Keep pressed together for more than 3s the A and 7 keys till the on message will be displayed Changing the Door Hinge The door can be changed from right hand hinged to left hand hinged or vice versa To do so proceed as follows Switch off power at the mains socket and remove the plug from the mains socket Remove the top panel and disconnect the multi plug inside Remove the hinge pin and lift off the door Move hinge from one side to the other Move the handle from one side to the other Place the door in the hinge on the desired side Insert hinge pin in the hinge and in the door hinge bush Fasten the hinge 7 Re connect the multi plug to the panel and secure the panel Re connect to the mains A series of pictorial instructions are available on request from our Customer Services department Maintenance and Service of your Lec Commercial Product Defrosting All Lec Commercial refrigerators feature automatic defr

8. llows Temperature above upper set parameter shows HA in display Temperature below lower set parameter shows LA in display Door Left Open for more than 1 minute shows dA in display Product in automatic Defrost mode shows dF in display Storage If the product is to remain unused for a period of time e g during refurbishment work disconnect it from the power supply at the wall socket Empty defrost and clean the product Make sure the door is left slightly ajar to prevent any bad odours forming within the product Electrical Connection The product is intended for connection to alternating current The connection values for voltage V and frequency Hz are declared on the data plate in the product Power must be connected via a wall socket with a switch It is strongly recommended that the wall socket is easily accessible All earthing requirements stipulated by the local electricity authority The product plug and wall socket should give correct earthing If in doubt contact your local supplier or an authorised electrician WARNING THIS APPLIANCE MUST BE EARTHED The flexible cord mains lead fitted to this product has three cores for use with a 3 pin 13 amp plug If a BS 1363 13 amp fused plug is used it should be fitted with a 13 amp fuse The cores in the mains lead are coloured in accordance with the following code GREEN AND YELLOW EARTH BLUE NEUTRAL BROWN LIVE These colours might not correspond with the
9. osting and in normal conditions means that no manual defrosting is required However in certain conditions e g when the refrigerator is very full or when any new items of are stored in the refrigerator frost may form on the rear wall of the product as the compressor must run for long periods of time As automatic defrosting takes place while the compressor is not running the refrigerator may not defrost completely before the compressor restarts In these instances some manual defrosting may be required All Lec Commercial freezers need to be manually defrosted on a regular basis Before manually defrosting the product make sure the power lead is disconnected from the mains Any loose frost found on the evaporator can be removed carefully using a wooden or plastic scrapper WARNING Do not use any knives or sharp metallic objects to remove frost Cleaning Your product should be cleaned regularly Before cleaning you MUST switch off and disconnect your product from the power supply The whole product except the door gasket can be cleaned with mild cleaning detergent The door gasket should be cleaned with water only and wiped dry The handle should be cleaned regularly with soap and water Remove shelves basket and wipe with a soft cloth DO NOT put then in a dishwasher Detergents containing abrasives or acids are not suitable for the cleaning When all cleaning has been completed and accessories replaced reconnect the plug with d
10. ry hands Replacing the LED light refrigerators only WARNING Ensure that the product is unplugged from the power source before commencing Your Lec Commercial refrigerator is fitted with energy efficient LED lighting In the unlikely event that you need to replace the light please follow the instructions below Switch product off at mains and remove plug from mains socket Remove screws holding LED cover in place using a screw driver and then remove screws holding LED strip by same method Disconnect LED strip at connector block and replace with new LED strip Re fix LED strip and LED cover to product using screws previously removed ensuring all screws are secure Re connect plug to mains socket and switch on Important Applies to all 400L amp 600L products Product Support Brackets All 400L and 600L products are supplied with a set of 2 product support brackets These are an important safety accessory and must be fitted to a wall using the screws and rawl plugs supplied and positioned just above the product to prevent the product from topping forward in the event of somebody leaning on the door when in the open position Lec Commercial 400L and 600L products should not be installed without these brackets being in situ Product Alarm Warnings Your Lec Commercial is supplied with temperature and door open alarm features to warn the and advise the user of certain conditions Details of the alarm warning displays are as fo
11. te away from heat sources The product must be placed on a level surface If the product is to be placed next to another refrigerating unit there should be at least a 2cm gap between products Before ANY maintenance activity pull the plug out of the socket by gripping the plug DO NOT pull on the plug cord DO NOT use double wire extension cords If an extension cord is necessary make sure it is a cord which possess a protection safety certificate If the main power supply cord is damaged it should be replaced immediately by a qualified service engineer DO NOT attempt any repairs to the product yourself apart from those highlighted in the Maintenance and Service Section Repairs carried out by someone without the relevant training are putting their personal safety at risk and will invalidate your warranty WARNING this product is only to be operated by authorised personnel or personnel who have correct knowledge on how the product operates Transporting and moving your Lec Commercial product The product must always be moved in the vertical position The product must not be tilted by more than 40 In the event that the product is tilted more than 40 the power supply must not be connected until the product has stood upright for at least 24 hours Energy saving tips This product is cooled by energy efficient R600a or R134a refrigerant To keep running costs as low as possible always e Position the product away from heat so
