1. e The appliance should not be installed in laundry or wet rooms where the humidity is higher than 85 RH e Do not place the unit next to heat sources e g Electrical fires fireplaces etc Energy Saving and Unit Safety Protection Tips e Do not cover or restrict the airflow from the outlet or inlet grills e For maximum performance the minimum distance from a wall or objects should be 30cm e Keep the filters or grills of the unit clean Under normal conditions filters or grills should only need cleaning once every three weeks approximately PARTS AND FEATURES The MD600 dehumidifier uses compressor free Peltier technology which makes it light and quiet It is perfect for small rooms kitchens wardrobes small boats and caravans The MD600 is ultraportable dehumidifier and will solve unwanted humidity issues in such spaces preventing mould and fungus growing and bad smells 1 On Off button 2 On Green LED 3 Full Yellow LED 4 Air inlet 5 Removable water tank 6 Dry air outlet 7 Carry Handle 8 DC power socket 9 Rubber feet 10 AC DC switching power supply 11 DC power Jack 12 AC Plug with power cord Plug type varies according to the region 13 Water draining hole 14 Float switch Installation and Operation 1 After removing the packaging materials there should be 2 items a MD600 Dehumidifier b AC DC Power adaptor 2 Plug the DC power jack 11 of AC DC power adaptor to2. the DC Power socket 8 then connect the AC plug 12 of the AC DC power adaptor to the appropriate main socket 3 Press the On Off button 1 to On position the green LED will be turned on The MD600 Dehumidifier will begin to operate You should able to feel the air blowing from dry air outlet 6 as fig 1 4 To switch off the unit press On Off button 1 to Off position the MD600 Dehumidifier will be turned off as Fig 2 Fig 1 AD Fig 2 WATER DRAINAGE When the water tank is full with approximately 2 litres of water collected the unit will be switched off automatically and the Yellow LED 3 will be on as Fig 3 Fig 3 To remove the water tank 13 first switch off the MD600 Dehumidifier press On Off button to the Off position Then remove the water tank from the unit and pour the water out in to a toilet or sink Put the water tank back into the unit To continue dehumidifying push the On Off button to On position again CLEANING Before cleaning the unit turn off the MD600 Dehumidifier and unplug the AC plug from the main socket first and observe full safety instructions Use a piece of soft cloth to clean the surface of the product or use a brush to wipe the dust off the grills Inlet 4 and air outlet 6 CAUTION After having finished using the MD600 Dehumidifier the user should switch the unit off by pressing the On Off button to Off pos
