1. state or the user clears the alarm status by following the reset sequence below Resetting alarms To reset alarms you must first follow the silence sequence above When all is quiet press the Silence and the Test buttons simultaneously All currently shown alarm status LED s will be extinguished and all alarm zones will be reset to the detection mode Testing the system Testing the system is simplicity itself and should be carried out on a daily basis before the facilities are open to the public The system should be inspected for correct calibration and operation at least annually to ensure reliability And should only be carried out by service personnel From detection mode i e no alarms active press the Test button The beeper should sound and all of the alarm status LED s should light up for approximately one second The purpose of this action is to perform a beeper and display test in the control itself Should any faults appear at this point the system requires immediate attention from service personnel Special attention should be given by staff to all affected zones whilst maintenance works are completed When the beeper stops the alarm status LED s should be off and the Test LED should now be flashing You are now in Test mode The system will not go into test mode if there are any alarms currently shown ringing or there are any other faults present in the system You should now walk

5. round all of the installed call points and activate each of them in turn Take note of their physical condition at this time any call points that are damaged will need immediate attention from service personnel and should be reported As they will be installed in Zones it is best to test each zone independently to save confusion Any physically damaged call points will require the immediate attention of service personnel When each call point is activated the appropriate zone LED will flash on the main control Where there are multiple call points installed in a single zone each call point will need to be tested independently You need to reset each zone by pressing the Test and the Silence buttons simultaneously Any call points or complete zones found to be faulty will need the immediate attention of service personnel Special attention should be given by staff to all affected zones whilst maintenance works are completed Once all call points have been tested and found to be operational then it is appropriate to return to detection mode This is done by simply pressing the Test button again You can only return from test mode when there are no alarms shown or ringing If there are any faults in the system including a persistent zone you will need to power cycle the control panel in order to exit the test mode Should there be a persistent zone during use just silence the alarm do not reset it The control will now only respo
