1. ANCHORING YOUR SAFE In order to fulfill the requirements of the EN certification your safe must be anchored to a suitable wall or floor using the masonry fixing kit supplied 1 Place the safe in the position you have selected Before marking or drilling any holes Secu re E nN ensure that there are no pipes or cables present at the fixing point If there is skirting board present this should be removed to allow the safe to be fitted USER MANUAL flush against the wall 2 Open the safe and remove any shelves SECU RELIN E CASTELLE SAFE 3 Using a pencil or sharp object mark out the position of the two drilling holes use the base or rear holes whichever provide fixing to the stronger Models SL0271 0 SL02711 SL0271 2 SL0271 3 idle SL02714 SL02810 SL02811 SL02812 SL02813 amp 4 Close the safe and remove it to provide sufficient space to drill the fixing SL02814 holes 5 Using a hammer drill drill holes 80mm deep The bolts are 10mm in diameter you will need an 11mm concrete drill bit 6 Clear the drill holes and remove any debris using a vacuum cleaner 7 Secure the safe using the bolts supplied Do this by feeding the bolt directly through the hole in the safe into the hole in the anchoring material Use a socket wrench to fully tighten the bolts in place www Secure Line net USER INSTRUCTIONS fig A rt fig B fig D E OPEN FFNEN OUVERTURE APERTURA OABH
