5. e Klearside Manual Last updated Jan 2010 BaKare Beds 2010 Issue 06 UCCIONS T Operating Lng Bakare Operating Instructions Profiling The Bed Lifting the head section on it s own will cause the occupant to slide down the bed It is common practice to first raise the Foot section and then the Head sec tion This will reduce the sliding ef fect for the occupant using the bed Raising the foot section can offer comfort to the occupant if they are suffering from swollen ankles Safety Ensure that the brakes are always locked before the bed is operated BaKare Beds The Klearside Manual Last updated Jan 2010 Page 5 BaKare Beds 2010 Issue 06 OMS C NSCTUCUE Sa l Operating gt be bE Bakare Operating Instructions Operating The Klearside Side Rails Raising Lowering To raise the side rail To lower the side rail 1 Depress the top button on the 1 Pull the side rail up side of the head foot board 2 Depress the button 2 Pull the side rail up until it is 3 Lower the side rail to the higher than the button Then release the button Side rail positions Side rails down For normal use of the bed and access to the user Both Ends Raised This gives full protection to the user Warning Both ends of the side
