Figure 5 21 VGA Connector Step 4 Secure the connector Secure the DB 15 VGA connector from the VGA monitor to the external interface by tightening the two retention screws on either side of the connector 5 7 5 Serial Device Connection The KINO 9453 has two female DB 9 connectors on the external peripheral interface panel for serial devices Follow the steps below to connect a serial device to the KINO 9453 Step 1 Locate the DB 9 connector The location of the DB 9 connector is shown in Chapter 3 Step 2 Insert the serial connector Insert the DB 9 connector of a serial device into the DB 9 connector on the external peripheral interface See Figure 5 22 220 RIechnology Corp KINO 9453 Mini ITX Motherboard Figure 5 22 Serial Device Connector Step 3 Secure the connector Secure the serial device connector to the external interface by tightening the two retention screws on either side of the connector 5 7 6 PS 2 Keyboard Mouse Connection The KINO 9453 has a dual PS 2 connector on the external peripheral interface panel The dual PS 2 connector is used to connect to a keyboard and mouse to the system Follow the steps below to connect a keyboard and mouse to the KINO 9453 Step 1 Locate the dual PS 2 connector The location of the dual PS 2 connector is shown in Chapter 3 Step 2 Insert the keyboard mouse connector Insert a PS 2 keyboard or mouse connector into the appropriate
