SCAN connector Scanner Unit 3 Connection cable R amp S No 5016 1890 00 User Manual 1177 5610 02 03 37 Overview 9 Introduction to rViCom App 5 1 5 2 5 2 1 5 2 2 Overview The R amp S TSMA provides an open remote ViCom interface that allows the integration into Windows and Android based software tools In the following example an Android based remote ViCom app is described Requirements General Requirements The following requirements must be fulfilled in order to use this app successfully e An Android device with at least Android 4 4 2 Android 4 4 4 is recommended e Possibility to establish connections via WLAN and or Bluetooth e ATSMA or a TSME connected to a PC with a running version of the rVicom Server Specific Requirements Before starting a scan or test it is necessary to make sure that a connection can be established Bluetooth Connection In order to use a Bluetooth connection turn on the Bluetooth adapter and perform the Bluetooth pairing with the device the server is running on WLAN Connection In order to use a WLAN connection establish the connection to the WLAN network with the device the server is running on Usage 5 3 Usage 5 3 1 Connection Establishment 5 3 1 1 Connection Type Selection In order to connect to R amp S TSMA it is either possible to use a WLAN connection or a Bluetooth connection The selection of the connection type depends on the measu
