6. g machines it is advised that the effect be used in well ventilated areas taking care not to obstruct the air vents After use allow time to cool for safety before moving or touching Never use any other type of liquid other than UNSCENTED water based fog fluid Use of any other fluids or additives will void the warranty DMX Operation 1 Follow all the cautions in Wired Wireless Operation 2 Connect the Platinum PRO FOG 1 5 with a standard DMX controller Make sure the polarity of the XLR connector is correctly recognized 3 Set DIP Switch 1 amp 10 in ON position 4 Switch on the power The blue LED by the DIP switch will keep flashing indicating DMX communication is ready 5 Push the slider in the controller to control the output volume Platinum PRO FOG 1 5 has only one DMX channel Synchronization 1 Connect two or more Platinum PRO FOG 1 5 with DMX cable 2 For the master set DIP Switch 10 in OFF position 3 For the slaves DIP Switch 1 amp 10 should be in ON position 4 Then all slaves will be synchronized with the master which is controlled with a DMX controller Platinum PRO FOG 1 5 Fogger is for indoor use only The place should be dry and cool The fogger must be used in a horizontal position sitting on a level surface In case put on ceiling or Suspending the degree of incline should be no more than 15 degree Take care not to aim directly into anyone s face Cleaning Unplug unit before attemptin
7. g to clean Cleaning your fogger regularly will help reduce costly parts replacement and repair charges After every 40 hours of continuous operation or when the machine will be idle for a long time it is recommended to run a cleaning solution composed of 80 distilled water and 20 white vinegar through the system to prevent the accumulation of particles in the heating element 1 While unit is unplugged and cool unscrew nozzle at very front of unit and clean out debris with white vinegar and a pipe cleaner making sure that the hole is free and unobstructed 2 Empty all fog fluid from the machine and replace with cleaning solution in the tank Plug unit in and allow it to warm as usual 3 Run unit in a well ventilated area until tank is empty 4 Replace nozzle Cleaning is now complete Unplug and refill with a quality water based fog fluid once cool All foggers are prone to clogging due to the consistency of fog fluid and the high temperatures at which it vaporizes However a well maintained machine should provide years of reliable use The body of the unit may be cleaned with a dry cloth Store dry Replacing Fuses In the event that the unit does not function when plugged in then it is likely that the fuse has blown Unplug unit before attempting to replace the fuse In order to replace the fuse unscrew the Fuseholder Cap to reveal the fuse The unit has a label attached which indicates the correct fuse rating or you may refer to

9. rear of the unit Simply remove the two thumb screws and remove from the unit The cable is stored in the well Once the machine has reached temperature and is ready to operate the red light on the unit and the remote control will illuminate Push the button on the unit or the remote control when lit and hold for prolonged bursts of fog Always monitor fog fluid level as running the machine with no fluid could cause permanent damage Please do not touch or place anything in close proximity to the nozzle during operation or preheat as there is a danger of burns Place the machine horizontally and loose the cap of liquid tank to pour the high quality fog liquid Put the plug of remote control box or wired control box into outlet marked REMOTE CONTROL on SM 1500DMX fogger rear panel Connect the machine with the proper power supply and ensure the unit is well grounded When the red indicator by the tank is ON the fogger is heating up and not ready for work When the green indicator by the tank is ON the fogger is ready Press ON button in the remote controller fog will keep bursting out Release ON button in the remote controller fog bursting will stop Push up the button on the control box to burst when you need You can push it many times until the red indicator LED is off and the green indicator LED is flashing When this happens it means the machine is over heated and it needs to be cooled down Due to the high operating temperature of fo
