HANDLEIDING USER MANUAL MAGICFX CO2 JET PRODUCT CODE VERSIE VERSION 1 DATUM DATE 01 08 2008 VOORWOORD Deze handleiding beschrijft de CO Jet De informatie in deze handleiding is belangrijk voor het goed en veilig functioneren van de CO Jet Indien u niet bekend bent met de bediening het preventief onderhoud etc van de Jet lees dan deze gebruikershandleiding van het begin tot het einde goed door MAGIC FX dringt er tevens op aan dat alle nieuwe gebruikers operators installateurs onderhoudsmensen en evt schoonmakers een training krijgen waarbij deze gebruikershandleiding als uitgangspunt kan dienen MAGIC FX adviseert dat het origineel van deze gebruikershandleiding inclusief bijlagen op een veilige centrale plaats wordt bewaard een ander exemplaar of kopie van deze gebruikershandleiding kan het best dicht bij de CO Jet op de werkplek worden bewaard Bent u wel bekend met deze zaken dan kunt u deze handleiding als naslagwerk gebruiken In deze gebruikershandleiding worden om de aandacht te vestigen op bepaalde onderwerpen of acties de volgende markeerconventies gebruikt TIP Geeft u suggesties en adviezen om bepaalde taken gemakkelijker of handiger uit te voeren LET OP Een opmerking met aanvullende informatie maakt u attent op mogelijke problemen VOORZICHTIG De machine kan beschadigen als u de procedures niet zorgvuldig uitvoert WAARSCHUWING VOOR GEVAAR U kunt uz
5. aan het apparaat WAARSCHUWING VOOR GEVAAR Indien er vragen kwesties of problemen opkomen die niet in deze handleiding worden besproken laat dit dan aan uw supervisor weten of bel de technische dienst van MAGIC FX 31 0 411 63 50 13 1 2 OMGAAN MET TECHNISCHE VEILIGHEIDSMAATREGELEN WAARSCHUWING VOOR GEVAAR De CO2 JET en de in deze handleiding beschreven beveiligingen mogen niet uitgebreid aangepast of veranderd worden zonder voorafgaande schriftelijke toestemming van MAGIC FX WAARSCHUWING VOOR GEVAAR Reparaties of onderhoud aan het elektrisch circuit of onderdelen Raadpleeg altijd MAGIX FX Verwijder nooit zelf onderdelen maar schakel een technisch vakbekwaam persoon in NEDERLANDS 2 INLEIDING 2 31 ALGEMEEN 2 1 1 Bedoeld gebruik De CO Jet is bedoeld om elektronisch op afstand witte rookpluimen van CO gasvorming omhoog te blazen Zodra de vloeibare CO vanuit de cilinder via de beveiligde hoge druk slangen uit de CO Jet komt zet dit om naar gas Bij deze gasvorming is een sterk sissend geluid hoorbaar en zal er een dichte witte rookpluim zichtbaar zijn De lengte van deze rookpluim is gemiddeld 8m Dit is afhankelijk van de luchtvochtigheid Bij een hoge luchtvochtigheidsgraad zal de rookpluim groter zijn en bij een lage luchtvochtigheidsgraad zal deze kleiner zijn De Jet dient te worden aangesloten op een vloeibare koolzuur COz cilinder met stijgbuis De Jet is niet geschikt voor andere
6. de koude temperatuur kunt u zich hieraan verbranden BEDIENEN VAN DE CO2 JET 1 De 2 Jet wordt geactiveerd zodra deze bekrachtigd wordt door een 220V stroom bron Neem een 220V schakelaar en zorg ervoor dat de stroom is uitgeschakeld Stop nu de stekker van de CO2 Jet in de schakelaar 49 Om te testen controleert eerst of de gaskraan op de koolzuur fles nog dicht staat Nu kunt u controleren of de CO2 Jet goed in geinstalleerd door de stroom in en uit te schakelen Als het systeem correct is aangesloten hoort de magneetklep in de CO2 Jet open en dicht gaan Dit is herkenbaar aan de klik die u hoort wanneer de klep opent en sluit NEDERLANDS BEDIENEN VAN DE CO2 JET VIA DMX 3 Als het systeem goed is aangesloten opent u de kraan van de koolzuur cilinder Controleer op lekkages Wanneer de gasslang niet goed in aangesloten kan er gas ontsnappen Indien dit het geval is draai de koppelingen dan strakker aan totdat er geen gas meer ontsnapt De CO2 Jet is nu klaar voor gebruik Om de 2 Jet te bedienen drukt u de schakelaar aan en uit Zodra u de schakelaar indrukt zal de magneetklep direct openen en zal het CO2 gas direct uit de CO2 Jet komen Wanneer u de schakelaar weer in de off positie drukt zal de klep onmiddellijk sluiten Schakel nooit langer dan 3 seconden Hiermee voorkomt u droogijs vorming op de blaaspijp en blaast u nie

9. fgaten Neem hiervoor 4 schroeven van tenminste 5cm lang en schroef deze de daarvoor bestemde gaten de base plate van de Jet Wanneer u de CO2 Jet op een truss of buisconstructie met een doorsnede van 5 wilt bevestigen gebruik dan half couplers en een safety cable 3 Neem de CO2 hoge druk slang en plaats de ring welke bevestigd is aan de stalen breekkabel over de koppeling op de CO2 Jet 4 Sluit de slang aan op de CO2 Jet en draai deze goed vast m b v een steeksleutel maat 22 NEDERLANDS 5 Sluit het andere uiteinde de slang aan op een koolzuur cilinder CO2 vloeibaar 6 Indien gewenst kunt u de blaaspijp verstellen Zorg er ten alle tijden voor dat ook de koppeling van de blaaspijp stevig wordt aangedraaid met een steeksleutel De CO2 Jet is nu klaar voor gebruik NEDERLANDS 7 WERKEN DE CO2 JET BEDIENING WAARSCHUWING VOOR GEVAAR Werken met de MAGIC FX CO2 JET mag alleen door volwassen en bevoegde personen gebeuren Draag ten alle tijden veiligheidshandschoenen en kleding tegen koude temperaturen voordat u met de CO2 JET gaat werken Wanneer het gas uit de cilinder of uit de CO2 Jet komt is een sterk sissend geluid hoorbaar Draag gehoorbescherming wanneer u met de CO2 JET werkt Richt nooit op mensen dieren of objecten Houdt een minimale afstand van minstens 8m Na gebruik kan er ijsvorming op de blaaspijp ontstaan Raak dit niet aan Door

13. nting use half couplers and a secured safety cable 3 Connect the CO2 high pressure hose to the CO2 Jet First place the ring attached to the steel break cable over the connector of the CO2 Jet 4 Fasten the connector by using a socket wrench 5 Connect the other end of the 2 hose to the 2 cylinder ENGLISH 6 Turn the outlet pipe in the desired direction and fasten it by using the socket wrench The 2 Jet is now ready to use 7 OPERATING THE CO2 JET WAARSCHUWING VOOR GEVAAR Only adult qualified people should operate the CO2 Jet ENGLISH Always wear safety cloths and cloves to protect against cold temperatures while you are working with the CO2 Jet Always wear ear protection when you are working with the CO2 Jet Never aim at human animals or objects Keep a minimum safet distance of at least 10m After use there might appear ice on the outlet pipe Never touch this Because of the low temperature it can cause scalding OPERATING THE CO2 JET 1 The CO2 Jet requires electronic input from a 220V power source Make sure the power is switched off and connect the schuko plug to a 220V power switch 2 To test the system make sure the tap of the CO2 cylinder is closed and there s no gas inside the hose Now switch on and switch off the power If the system is installed correctly the valve inside the yet will
14. open and close You can recognize this by hearing the clicking of the valve 4 Slowly turn up the pressure of the system by opening the gas tap of the CO2 cylinder Check for leakages with the help of a leakage spray Solve leakages by turning the connection tightly or replace the supplied closing ring between the 2 cylinder and the connection part The 2 Jet is now ready to use ENGLISH 4 To operate the CO2 Jet s push the power switch in its ON position As soon as the CO2 Jet is powered by 220V the valve will open and the CO2 will come out of the outlet pipe of the CO2 Jet By pushing the switch back in its off position the valve will close immediately Never switch on the power longer than 3 seconds at a time because it might cause dry ice flakes and there might be danger of suffocation by accumulation of 2 gas in the area OPERATING THE CO2 JET BY DMX The 2 Jet system can be controlled by a DMX controller if they are connected to a dmx switch pack Connect the schuko plugs of the CO2 Jets in the schuko sockets of the switch pack Program a dmx address to each channel and the Jets can be operated by a dmx controller Consult the manual of your dmx switch pack and your dmx controller for more instructions The 2 Jets can not be operated by a dimmer 8 WORKING WITH 2 GAS 2 GAS DANGER WARNING ENGLISH Who works wi
