A Allied Telesyn International CentrecoM AT 210T and AT 210TS Micro Transceiver User Manual Overview The Micro Ethemet Transceiver Series of products are direct attach IEEE 802 3 and Ethemet Version 1 0 and 2 0 devices AT supports all conmon Ethemet media with Micro Transceivers for thin coax LOBASE2 UTP 10BASE T and FOIRL LAN sys tems The transceivers support a single AUI that attach directly to the AUI 15 pin com nection found on most Ethemet stations DTEs Direct AUI connection reduces cabling costs for the installer All Al transceivers are equipped with LEDs providing status and diagnostic infone tion LEDs make LAN installation and troubleshooting easy for the installer An easily accessible user selectable SQE Test switch heartbeat is also provided on all mod as ATI uses quality product packaging for increased reliability AT shows a high level of confidence in the micro transceiver products with a 5 year warranty Preparation An SQE Test switch heartbeat is available to provide IEEE 802 3 Ethemet SQE Test ing If required place the SQE Test switch to the ON position An illuminated LED indicates the SQE Test is enabled If the DTE does not require an SQE Test or if the DTE is a repeater place SQE Test switch to OFF The SQE Test is disabled when the LED is off Disable the heartbeat function by tuming the SQE Test switch OFF when the Ethemet MAU is connected to a repeater to elirri
