22. efrigeration system 3 Emptying and filling with Freon d Lowest temperatures depending on the rotor Z 513 Z 513 K Sep 96 bd Chapter 3 6 1 3 6 2 3 6 3 3 6 5 1 Functional description of the refrigeration system The quantity of the coolant passed into the evaporator is controlled by a solenoid valve and an expansion valve A detecting element continuously measures the temperature at the evaporator output This detecting element regulates the injection nozzle because of this the evaporator gets always the neccessary quantity of coolant So you can reach the maximum capability of the refrigeration system at any operating status As soon as the required preset temperature is reached the solenoid valve interrups the coolant circuit The solenoid valve reopens the circuit as soon as the temperature rises and passes on coolant to the evaporator again The response time of the solenoid valve is controlled by the CPU From the temperature sensor placed in the rotor chamber the processor receives the information of the chamber temperature As the actual temperature of the samples is not necessarily the same as the chamber temperature the microprocessor calculates the sample temperature for the respective rotor This value will be indicated on the digital temperature display The temperature control of the microprocessor works according to the calculated value
