Modules ie OPTICAL HANDPIECE LIGHT BOARD PN 33040 Remove cable connector on Board sce Fig 7 Remove screws and washers with 1 16 Allen wrench Reussemble in reverso order t POWER DISPLAY BOARD PN 330550 Remove the Cable Connector from Optical Handpiece Board Fig 7 Remove Board mounting scews and washers with 1 16 Allen wrench Remove Optical Handpiece Board and place to the sido Remove remaining Cable Connectors from Power Display Board cable going through the holders Leave other cabe is in This wil make reassembly jer Remove the four standofk on Board wit 1 4 sock et Remove four cap screws and washers with 1 16 Allen wrench Remove the four cap screws and washers n transformer with 582 Allen wrench Remove Board from chasis Reassembly is done in reverse order Ensure that spac eis are present on 4 standoff prior to installing Board Reconnect connectors Install 1 16 able is approximately where previous installed POWER SWITCH PN 830018 Remove wire terminal from Switch see Figs a amp 8b Pres tabs in on Switch and remove Switch Remove over and place on new Switch Place new Switch ino chassis with circle on toggle to the OFF side Reassemble wires with white to white and black to black Figur SECONDARY FUSE HOLDERS PN 8300 2097 Desolder wires from Holder see Fig 9 Remove Holder with 9 16 open end wrench Take

11. and remove ground wire at Motor Remove Cover from Case Note orientation of Fin Remove Fan fasteners with 1 Philipehcad scrondrver and 5 16 socket Reassemble in the reverse order Take care when rein stalling Cover that tubing from Compresor is not COMPRESSOR MOTOR PN 730503 Remote Filter and Compresor Cover previously described in FAN DISASSEMBLY Remove rubber eet on bottom of unit eae to expose screws ce Fig 17 Remove the four mounting screws with 3 Philips head scemuriver Remove cable holding down wires Motor Remove ground wire with 2 screwdrver Cut wires at heatsink to Motor Lift Motor 0 and remove pressure tube by removing clamp Note Clamp can be removed by sliding tabs says Removal of Tube is easier if heated slightly with heatsink gun Lift Motor from Case Note orientation offitngs Most iubes can be left attached not damaged Remove Venturi rom large tube in center of Motor by palling on Venturi Use adjustable 6 wrench to remove iting and place in new Motor Push Venturi back int large tube In middle of Motor Remove fect and attach in same orientation on new Motor Reassembly is donc inthe revers order Position Motor in Case Ensure that tubing is not Kinked Reatach pressure hose with clamp us to tighten camp Align Motor and mount to bottom of Case with screws and countersunk nylon washers Note to level unit Screws and nylon washers

13. d 2 Handpiece Coolant Flow Adjust Vale Both Vales can be dias semble in a similar fashion Remove the Valve knob with a 1 16 Allen wrench ce Fig 10 Note orientation of Valve prior to removal Remove tuber from Valve Loosen inner mut with thin opes end wrench outer nut removes freely by hand Remove outer nut and Vale Remove fittings and attach to new Vale Reassembly with orientation as before Loosen inner ut so that outer nut canbe brought Aush to alv sur face Use a 9 16 open end wrench on upper body and tighten internal nut with 9 16 thin open end wrench This wil avoid damage to outer surface Ensure that valve turned to closed position and replace knob FOOT SWITCH RECEPTACLE PN 875026 Remove cable connector from PowerlDisplay Board Gee Fig 11 Remove ground wire fom ground stud With 5 6 socket Remove connector from chasis with open end wrench Reassembly is done in reverse order Ensure that all ground terminals are reinstalled MOTOR RECEPTACLE PN 75048 Remove cible connector from Power Display Board Gee Fig 11 Remove ground wire from ground stud With 5 16 socket Remove wires from Two Way Solenoid from the connector Remove water line and linc from barb This can be accomplished with small pir of xisors Note orientation of connector Remove four nuts and washers with 14 socket Remove connector from chasis Reassembiy is done in reverse order Place

17. guide to symptoms and appro rate procedures to various probleme Cleaning and Lubrication When servicing the AEU 425CF CFH Military Dental System the parts of any component disssembled shouldbe thoroughly cleaned and inspected before re sembly A hot detergent solution is an effective esser on all non electrical part Flush all non secca pars with clear hot water Abrasive cleaners have the potential to damage surface fishes and should be avoided Any wiping should be dane wih a Soft it fee Electrical pars shouldbe cleaned with an appropriate secca parts cleaner air Use silicone base lubricating grease such as Dow Corning No 103 to lubricate O rings oral evacuator valves and seas inthe system Before performing any Teasenbly of parts that contain O rings or seals apply a light coat of slicane grease This will make instala tion easier and prevent the O sings or seals from being damaged WATER LINES Prepare 1 10 bleach solution 1 par household bleach to 9 part water Remove water reser oir and discard residual water Replace empty water reservoir and purge waerinen Fl water reser with bleach solution Run bleach through ali lnc Allow bleach solution to standin lines for 10 minute Remove water reservo und discard bleach Flash all lines thoroughly with clean water purge and leave t DISASSEMBLY ELECTRONICS MODULE Lay unit down Open cover and remove Electronics
18. ist connect molor to motor receptacle and connect a handpiece to molor Place a into the handpiece and secure Switch the SCALERMOTOR selector switch on the electrical chassis to MOTOR see Figure 5 Turn the coolant A tothe OFF postion Step on the foot pedal and verify that the motor is running Press the reverse button and verify that the buzzer I on and the dil has reversed direction To check for water a handpiece with water connector or check the motor to confirm hat water is coming from the stem Turn the coolant toggle tothe ON postion and adjust the coolant flow to open prior to stepping on the foot pedal Verify that water is coming ou the tube To verify the sealer svtch the SCALER MOTOR selector switch Fig 5 to SCALER With a ip on the scaler tur the coolant togl to the ON position and Open the coolant flow prior to stepping on the pedal Step on the pedal and place the tp on a piece of metal penny ete and veri that lid present and a high lich noise is present Note If the motor coolant ON OFF toggle swich is in the ON position a small amount of water willbe preset at he handpiece due to the switching of the three way solenoid for the motor scaler The above describes base inspection and verification of the AEUOSCEICFH system Ifthe sil docs mot perform as required further diagnosis of ents inthe system may require service Use the Trouble Shooting section as a
