1. in the passenger s airbag inflator replace the passenger s airbag seepage 24 67 To page 24 51 24 50 From page 24 50 Check for an open inthe SRS main harness 1 Disconnect the battery negative cable then disconnect the positive cable and wait for three minutes 2 Disconnect the driver s airbag 2P connector from the cable reel 2P connector see page 24 11 3 Disconnect the SRS main harness 18P connector from the SRS unit Do not disconnect the special tool2 2 from the SRS main harness 2P connector 4 Check resistance between the No 10 terminal and No 14 terminal ofthe SRS main harness 18P connector There should be approx 2 0 3 0 Q is the resistance as specified SRS UNIT ii Soe Poor contact at the SRS main harness 18P connector ZA 0 check the connector S If the connector is OK substitute a known good SRS ON unit and recheck Ra RU If the problem is still present replace the SRS main SRS MAIN HARNESS harness 18P CONNECTOR Wire side of female terminals Open or increased resistance in the SRS main harness replace the harness 24 512.
