1. o ay E T a TE N X AUDIO OUT L R TV set Analog amplifier For selecting the amplifier type and making other settings see explanations of the setting possibilities left hand column Operating additional equipment Assignment of the digital audio input In order to be able to hear the digital sound of an external device con nected to an AV input an AV input can be assigned to the digital audio input socket AUDIO DIGITAL IN When switching to this AV input the digital audio signal applied to the AUDIO DIGITAL IN input is passed on to the integrated Dolby Digital Decoder and the digital audio output socket AUDIO DIGITAL OUT You will then hear the digital sound of the assigned AV input instead of the analogue sound if available Connecting devices to the digital audio input For the digital audio playback from an external device e g the DVD player you have to feed the digital audio signal to the TV set The external digital audio signal can be played back via the integrated Dolby Digital Decoder in the TV set via an externally connected digital audio amplifier or Loewe Auro ug Tan external audio amplifier is used this must be regis tered in the sound components wizard see page 46 Call TV menu o N 4 gt Select Connections BF e go to the menu line below 4 gt Select Miscellaneous v go to the menu line below d gt Select Assign digital audio input v go to the menu li
