1. FLAT BACK RAIN BARREL INSTRUCTIONS August 25 2014 Revision 5 Spigot Assembly 1 Place supplied teflon tape on threads nearest the hex end of spigot 2 Screw spigot end with hexagonal feature into pre threaded opening in front of the Flat Back Rain Barrel 3 Thread spigot until the hex face touches the barrel Do not over tighten beyond the point where another turn is not possible 4 Adjust spigot until vertical relative to the barrel TO PREVENT STRIPPING BARREL THREADS LAY THE BARREL FLAT BACK DOWN TO INSTALL THE SPIGOT Screen Installation 5 Locate the screen and set into recessed section on top of the Flat Back Rain Barrel NOTE f vou plan to leave your Rain Barrel outside over the winter it is very important to winterize your Flat Back Rain Barrel as follows a Drain your Rain Barrel b Remove the screen and place inside the Rain Barrel Turn the Rain Barrel upside down and setin desired location preferably ina garage or basement Failure to comply with these winterization instructions may resultin avoided warranty NOTE NO MORE THAN A 3 FOOT STANDARD GARDEN HOSE SHOULD BE USED FOR PROPER WATER FLOW RTS Companies Inc warrants its products to be free from defectsin materals and workmanship under normal use and service forthe periodofone year All warranty periods begin on the date of invoke This warranty Goes not cover defects which are merely cosmetic but is limited to defects which re2. sult in structural failu re including structural failu due to materal cormsion or deterioration This warranty does not cover damage due to vandalism abuse Ackof maintenance or improper installation RTS Standard Terms andConditions apply RTS Companies Inc 1027 Industrial Place PO St Clements Ontario NOB 2M0 1 800 663 2803 RTS Companies US Inc 2900 Industrial Park Drive Austinburg Ohio 44010 1 888 641 3077 PAGE 1 1
