1. Remove snow before it turns to ice Do not use salt or chemical ice removers as these may damage concrete2. 5301F2 SET UP INSTRUCTIONS 1 Prepare a suitable location for your new fountain The fountain needs the support of a firm and level surface 9301F2 2 Always follow local electrical codes Make sure to connect to a safe GFCI circuit 3 Place the 5301PH Pedestal Base unit in its finished location Be sure to turn the access hole at the bottom toward your electrical connection 4 Securely slip one end of the wider tubing over the barbed attachment under the AB870 light Push the threaded end of the 15 45H barbed adapter into the other end of the same Sa S f tube Then push one end ofthe smaller tube 2 9 Noo o o E oe over the barbed end of the adapter Insert this tube assembly and light power cord together down through the top hole of the 5301TH Top The AB870 light should fit snug in the top hole of the 5301TH 5 Place the restrictor in the middle of the smaller tube tightening just enough to hold it in place there Once operating the fountain you can tighten the restrictor to lessen your water flow if desired 6 Push the smaller adapter into the open end of the tube assembly Then push the other end of the adapter into the pump top 7 Place the rubber stopper on the pump cord about 10 from the pump body The larger end of the stopper should be closest to the pump Then insert the power cord from the light into the stopper s other hole The length of the light cord from the light should be about 6 longer than the water
3. tube 8 Slowly place the 5301TH Top piece on top of the 5301PH Pedestal Base As you do guide the two power cords down through the center hole With the help of another person to hold items in place tip the whole fountain back just enough to reach underneath and pull the loose cords out the access hole 9 Returning your attention to the top again make sure the pump is sitting down in the lowest part of the bowl Push the rubber stopper firmly in place to create a watertight seal 10 Fill the bowl unit with water to about 1 from the top 11 Read your pump and light instructions Then connect the light power cord to the transformer provided and plug in the transformer and pump to enjoy your fountain If the pump does not immediately begin working there may be an airlock within the impeller chamber Simply unplug and plug in a few times and it should start 12 Save this instruction and make sure to winterize according to details below Csd IMPORTANT WINTER CARE Winter ice build up can cause damage to concrete statuary Follow these tips to reduce winter weathering to your fountain Disconnect power to pumps and lights Remove plugs stoppers in all fountain bowls to open drains and let all moisture out Keep drains open throughout winter Place an absorbant material like burlap blankets etc inside vases bowls and cover all with a Henri fountain cover Do not allow snow or ice to build up on or against the concrete
