SFN J000012 Rev 10 12 00 wwe FUSION HARDWARE GROUP TOLL FREE CUSTOMER SERVICE 877 215 4683 DEADBOLT INTERIOR INTERIOR INTERIOR Handleset Installation Two Piece Interior Non Interconnect Bore lower grip anchor position as indicated by the included bore template Install upper Deadbolt latch It is pre set for 2 3 8 backset Adjust as shown for 2 3 4 backset Install lower Passage latch into door first adjusting for appropriate backset Place exterior portion of handleset into door sliding spindle through the installed latch Install interior lower chassis with two screws Snap on Interior Rose Install knob or lever with set screw Insert Cylinder Core without key into collar Exterior Rose or plate and through latch on outside of door with the cylinder core tailpiece laying flat in the horizontal position Install deadbolt position mounting plate with two screws into exterior core chassis Attach with two longer screws through interior deadbolt mounting plate and into exterior cylinder core Position interior rose spring and thumb turn onto stem and tighten with set screw provided allowing for smooth operation Install interior anchor for lower grab Snap on finish cover INTERIOR THIS STEP IS FOR AN ADJUSTABLE DEADBOLT LATCH ONLY LATCH BACKSET ADJUSTMENT Latch backset adjustment only needs to be made if your door needs a 2 3 4 70 mm backset Otherwise NO ADJUSTM
