Verify that all required parts are included LOCKiT Body LT LOCKiT Cover Plate 1N Door Latches 2 Latch Y Screws 1 Screws Masonry Spacers 2 4 3 Anchors 3 EASY INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS Assemble the recommended tools for easy installation Drill e Y Drill Bit e Phillips Drill Bit e Pen or Pencil Decide where to position the LOCKiT sliding glass door lock Suggested placement is half way between the existing sliding door lock and the top of the door If there are small children in the home install the LOCKIT sliding glass door lock high enough to be out of their reach Do not install within 3 of the top of the door to allow the top slide bolt to operate properly Once the location is selected open the door and decide which door latch fits the sliding glass door jamb The flat pre drilled latch plate should fit flat in the back of the door jamb and flush with the front edge of the jamb If the door jamb is deeper than the latch plate place one or both spacers as needed between the latch plate and the door jamb for a flush fit Mark the position of the three pre drilled holes of the latch plate on the inside of the door jamb with a pen or pencil 1 Remove the latch and using a Y drill bit drill starter holes on the door jamb as marked Attach the latch including spacers and masonry anchors if needed with the drill and 1 screws provided Masonry anchor instructions Designed for use in concrete
