Use and Care Manuel For AC736 Pull on both ends of the Window Air Purifier to adjust the width till the Window Air Purifier touches the sides of your double hung window sill Lower the double hung Window onto the top of the Window Air Purifier holding it in place and making a seal with the gasket on the Window Air Purifier Replace Filter every 6 Months for Particulate and every 3 months for odors Store in a plastic bag when not in use to extend life of filter To avoid exposure to allergens keep same side facing out and handle with gloves and a mask when taking out for the season or changing the filter See page two for instructions on how to change filter Replacement Cartridges are available for all sizes use chart to pick correct size and put VC on the end when ordering Manufactured Sizes Fit Most Double Hung Windows Style Height Adjusts ALTA T 20 W ACTH J od Ly A 136 S oy 3 ERS Bafles slow air to increase filter efficiency and keep out rain snow and wind i S a i E i s 5 d be Petry wy oe et fete i i hi T H U Window Ventilator Replaceable Filter Cartridge p gt In order to replace the filter in your window ventilator you will need a standard phillips head screwdriver and the appropriate sized cartridges i e 736 cartridges for a model 736 ventilator gt Please read the directions carefully before attempting to change the cartridge Figure 1 gt First re2. move the ventilator from the window to a surface that is easily cleaned When removing the old filter trapped dirt and dust may fall off If you are particularly sensitive to dust pollen and dirt you may want to wear a mask or have someone else replace the cartridge for you gt Put the ventilator in a closed position figure 1 ef Keeping the ventilator closed remove the two silver screws from the plain plastic endcap closest to you figure 2 gt Pull the old filter toward you and discard figure 3 If this is the first time the filter has been replaced it will be in three pieces Do not remove the plastic rails on the outer edges of the replacement cartridge These rails stay on the cartridge even in use gt Take the new filter cartridge and slide it into the channel leaving the black rails in place figure 4 These rails facilitate installation and removal and should be left on the filter Replace the two screws and the endcap The endcap will slightly compress the screen when you replace it eZ gt Turn the ventilator over and repeat the process for the other panel REP Industries Inc 312 Walnut Street Lansdale PA 19446 215 368 0154
