4. filtering without cooling Since fan only setting does not provide cooling a Set tempera ture cannot be entered The room temperature will appear in the display NOTE Auto Fan Speed cannot be used in Fan Only mode Loss of Power Protection If power to the air conditioner is lost or interrupted the air condi tioner will automatically re start in the setting last used prior to power loss If the Timer was set to automatically turn the air conditioner off or on it will resume countdown at the amount time left prior to power loss You may need to set a new time if desired Air Direction Use the lever on the front air vents to adjust the direction of the airflow You can direct the airflow left right up or down The lever is located on the right side of the air vent _ 2 SN WG Q t WG LY pane Air outlet frame 15 CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE CLEANING THE FILTER If the filter is clogged with dust the amount of air flow will be reduced resulting in poor cooling performance The filter should be cleaned every 10 days At the beginning of every cooling season or after a long period of inactivity clean the filter before starting the unit REMOVE THE FILTER Open the front panel and get the filter out CLEAN THE FILTER To remove dust from the filter use a vacuum cleaner or wash it in clean water If the filter is very dirty wash it with detergent and rinse carefully with clean water Dry
