1. fan becomes damaged it must be replaced by the manufacturer its after sales service or by a similar qualified person in order to avoid danger e Do not use this fan outside or in any commercial industrial or agricultural setting This fan is only for residential use Do not use this fan with any solid state speed control devices e Do not use this fan in a damp area such as bathroom e Do not use this fan on a window ledge or on any unstable platform The fan should only be used standing on its base and on a dry level surface Never lay the fan on its side e Do not use this fan next to a window or anywhere where exposure to rain or moisture is possible This may create an electrical hazard e Do not place the electrical cord under any objects such as carpets throw rugs or runners Do not place electrical cord in areas of foot traffic where there is a risk of stumbling or traffic where there is a risk of stumbling or tripping over it e The fan must always be unplugged when not in use e Before unplugging the fan first ensure it has been turned off e Do not operate the fan in an area where gasoline paint supplies or any flammable liquids or explosive chemicals are used or stored e Do not try to repair or disassemble this fan Doing so will void the warranty and may result in damage and or personal injury There are no end user serviceable parts e Remote control devices for other appliances may interfere with fan and vic2. to adjust the left right or up down angle of the fan manually or by force Doing so will damage the fan and void the warranty To return the vertical angle to its straight or flush position turn the fan on and activate the Up Down button and wait for the fan to return to the desired angle Follow the same procedure for returning the horizontal angle to its straight or flush position WARNING DO NOT HANG OR MOUNT THIS FAN ON CEILING DO NOT OPERATE THIS FAN IN OSCILLATION MODE WHEN IT IS WALL MOUNTED Cleaning 1 Always disconnect the cord from the electrical outlet before cleaning your fan 2 Dust may be removed by using a vacuum cleaner along the back of the fan where the plastic grille covers the air intake and along the front grille cover A pipe cleaner or flexible duster may also be used 3 Wipe the exterior surfaces of the fan occasionally with a damp cloth not dripping wet and dry thoroughly with a soft dry cloth before operating the fan 4 Do not use harsh cleaners or materials to clean this unit doing so will cause damage WARNING DO NOT ALLOW WATER TO RUN INTO THE INTERIOR OF THE FAN AS THIS COULD CREATE A FIRE OR ELECTRIC SHOCK HAZARD Removal of Front Grille for Cleaning Ensure the fan is unplugged then carefully lay the fan face down on a flat surface Take off the front grille by removing the screws located on the rear of the fan Lift the rear housing please use handle to separat

5. culation INTHEWINTER To circulate warm air place the fan near a heat source and angle the fan upwards so that the air output from the fan is away from the heat source To angle the fan upwards turn on the U D up down oscillation and wait for the fan to be pointed directly upwards toward the ceiling Then turn off the U D oscillation to lock the fan in its upward s pointing position never force the fan into a desired angle If no heat source is available allow the fan to oscillate upwards until it is pointing to the ceiling Then turn off the U D oscillation to lock the fan pointing upwards This will force the warmer air into circulation Cooling in Warming in SUMMER WINTE For non directional airflow or to maximize the distribution of airflow into a wide space activate the up down button while in left right oscillation mode for automatic dual motion oscillation The dual motion oscillation will deliver the greatest distribution of airflow and provide thorough mixing to a given space thereby helping bring the room to a more desirable equilibrium temperature Manually Setting the Vertical Angle 1 To manually adjust the vertical angle of airflow turn on the fan and activate the Up Down button for automatic vertical oscillation When the fan reaches the desired vertical angle press Up Down button to deactivate the automatic vertical oscillation The fan will remain at this vertical angle Never attempt
