This GUARANTEE is in addition to your Statutory Rights SUNPENTOWN INTERNATIONAL INC 14625 Clark Avenue City of Industry CA 91745 Tel 626 336 2299 Fax 626 336 7116 service sunpentown com www sunpentown com CARE amp MAINTAINENCE e Turn off power and unplug unit before cleaning e Never use a detergent or any cleaning chemicals to clean the tank or base Detergent dissolved in the water supply can interfere with the mist output e If water tank is extremely dirty soak with a mild bleach and water solution and rinse clean Never use detergent e Wipe the exterior of the body with a damp cloth e Do not spray water or any liquid onto the control e Never immerse the base in water or let water enter the air outlet or other openings e Clean and rinse the water tank and mist nozzle with lukewarm water frequently to avoid mineral build up especially during the heating season e Keep the nebulizer and water sensor free of mineral deposits Remove water tank and empty the reservoir Clean the nebulizer and sensor with a soft brush old toothbrush Do not scrape the nebulizer or water sensor Do not clean with tools that have metal parts e Leaving water to sit in the tank for more than a couple days may cause bacterial growth Always empty the tank if not planning to use for a few days STORAGE e Save the box for off season storage e Clean the tank base and all parts thoroughly and dry completely before storage e If w2. gathers may also damage furniture walls and wallpaper e To eliminate excessive humidity especially in smaller rooms leave the room door or window open and adjust the mist intensity control accordingly PARTS IDENTIFICATION Handle Water tank Water level Tank cap indicator Base Indicator light Power switch amp Mist intensity control OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS Place unit on a smooth level surface that can support the unit when filled with water Lift and remove mist nozzle Remove water tank Turn it upside down and turn the cap counter clockwise to open Fill with COOL tap water or DISTILLED water DO NOT USE HOT WATER Do not add fragrance or oll in the water It will cause malfunction of the unit Replace the fill cap by turning clockwise do not over tighten NOTE Nhen carrying a filled water tank place one hand under for support Place water tank back on the base be sure tank is correctly aligned with base replace the mist nozzle Allow water to fill the reservoir in the base Plug in power source and turn control dial clockwise pass the click to power on To adjust mist intensity turn the control dial clockwise to increase and counter clockwise to decrease Indicator light Green power on Red water out NOTE If the Red indicator light illuminates after powering on either the unit is out of water or tank is not properly aligned Once the water tank is in place do not attempt to
