1. 09 30 year Limited Warranty 30 year warranty on motor Attach receipt here for easy location Product Model No Date of Purchase This warranty is valid for the VENTO products that are purchased from an authorized retailer in U S A and installed in U S A only VENTO warrants its DC motor excluding sensor wire to be free from defects in workmanship and material under normal use within 30 year after the date marked on the fan body VENTO also warrants that all other fan parts excluding any glass or battery to be free from defects in workmanship and material under normal use within one year after the date marked on the fan body To obtain warranty service you must present a copy of the receipt as proof of purchase All costs of removing and reinstalling the product are your responsibility Damage to any part such as by accident or acts of God or fire or civil unrest or misuse or improper installation or by affixing any accessories is not covered by this warranty Because of varying climatic conditions this warranty does not cover any changes in brass finish including rusting pitting corroding tarnishing or peeling Brass finishes of this type give their longest useful life when protected from varying weather conditions Acertainamountof wobble is normal and should not be considered a defect Servicing performed by unauthorized persons shall render the warranty invalid There is no other express warran2. appropriate screws spring washers and i washer T washers included with your fan springwasher 7 Caution Wood screws must go through into screw the building joist 3 Loosen two screws and hex nut at the top Vi downrod set coupling of the motor assembly Put downrod down through canopy and decorative cover ko meen and thread wire from coupling through the a decorative cover downrod Align holes in downrod and coupling a set screw and hex nut R pin Insert the lock pin through the downrod and secure with R pin Then tighten two set screws and hex nut firmly Note It is important to ensure that the set screw and the screws on coupling are locked tightly lock pin 4 Lift the fan onto the mounting bracket and check whether it has been mounted properly X mounting ad Installation instructions 04 AC power input N L 5 Connect black wire from fan motor and the live white black wire from the ceiling Connect white wire from fan motor and the neutral wire from the ceiling Xx CAUTION For compliance with local codes and regulations If installing the secondary support safety cable inthe U S Do not remove knockouts in the outlet box 6 The safety cable must be installed into the house structure beams using wood screw washer and spring washer provided Make sure that when the safety cable is fully extended the lead wires are longer than the cable and no

The plating is sealed with a lacquer to minimize discoloration or tarnishing Warning Make sure the power is off before cleaning your fan 3 There is no need to oil your fan The motor has permanently lubricated sealed ball bearings 07 Rear view of transmitter DC motor initial setup Procedure before your fan will operate 1 With fan power off change the Fan DIP Switches setting on the transmitter if you are using more than one fan in the same area and want to control them separately 2 Light Kit Setting Operation Fan with light kit a ON OFF light mode please adjust Light DIP switch to ON position b Dimmer mode please adjust Light DIP switch to D position 3 Within 60 seconds of turning power on to the unit press the SET button where inside the battery compartment door for 5 seconds until the lights blink twice Then the unit will start to run its set up program This is necessary for the electronics to calibrate each speed RPM based on the load of the blades Fan without light kit It s not necessary to adjust Light DIP switch and please follow the step 3 to run through an automatic set up procedure 4 After all steps are completed the fan should be ready to operate normally at any speed This setting program will take around 5 minutes 5 The last fan speed and light function will resume when power is turned back on Caution 1 While the fan run through a set up procedure please

9. ited Warranty 99 Trouble shooting 08 Problem A Fan do not start Remedies 1 Check the transmitter and confirm whether there is any battery poor contact or coming off Replace battery if necessary 2 Turn off power and check wiring connection Problem B Excessively noise Remedies 1 Check all the screws to see whether they are completely tightened 2 Check to make sure mounting bracket is installed properly 3 Fan with light kit Check to make sure light kit and glass are tight and installed properly Problem C Serious wobble Remedies 1 Check and make sure that all the blades are completely fixed or not 2 Check all the screws on the downrod are tightened or not 3 If the above mentioned remedies can t eliminate the wobble use the clip from balancing metal to make sure the position Stick the balancing weight on the opposite side of the mark place Maintenance Care of Your Fan Here are some suggestions to help you maintain your fan 1 Because of the fan s natural movement some connections may become loose Check the support connections brackets and blade attachments twice a year Make sure they are secure It is not necessary to remove fan from ceiling 2 Clean your fan periodically to help maintain its new appearance over the years Do not use water when cleaning this could damage the motor or possibly cause an electrical shock Use only a soft bruch of lint free cloth to avoid scratching the finish
