1. tay RIDGEWAY 3 LT 4 LT VANITY LIGHT DESIGNHOUSE ASSEMBLY INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS 1 Before beginning the installation carefully unpack and identify all parts referring to Figure 1 Be sure the supply power is OFF 2 Fix 2 FIXTURE SCREWS onto the MOUNTING STRAP with 2 NUTS 3 Using 2 OUTLET BOX SCREWS securely fasten the MOUNTING STRAP to the outlet box NOTE This fixture also provided with 2 wood screws for optional channel shape MOUNTING BRACKET installation It will be necessary to mark the location of the keyhole slots on the mounting surface and drill holes for fasteners Use fasteners suitable for the mounting surface The narrow end of the KEYHOLE SLOTS should face up Fit the heads of the WOOD SCREWS through the KEYHOLE SLOTS in the MOUNTING STRAP pull down the MOUNTING STRAP until the WOOD SCREW heads are seated at the small ends of the KEYHOLE SLOTS and secure both WOOD SCREWS 4 MAKE ELECTRICAL CONNECTIONS We recommend 2 people for the remainder of installation Position the FIXTURE in front of the OUTLET BOX and pass the FIXTURE SUPPLY and GROUND WIRES through the center of the NIPPLE Connect the HOUSE GROUND WIRE to the FIXTURE GROUND WIRE by WIRE NUT and then secure to the MOUNTING STRAP with GREEN GROUND SCREW Using wire Connectors connect the HOUSE WHITE WIRE S to the FIXTURE WHITE or RIBBED LEAD S Connect the HOUSE BLACK or RED WIRE to the FIXTURE BLACK or SMOOTH LEAD S Wrap all connections with appro2. ved electrical tape 5 Place the WALL PLATE over the MOUNTING STRAP and secure it with 2 LOCK BALLS 6 Locate the GLASS SHADES and PULL over the SOCKETS Thread SOCKET RINGS onto end of the SOCKETS Hand tighten until snug 7 Install the bulb s Sold separately Bulb quantities depend on the style Refer to Figure 2 8 Restore supply power ON Retain this sheet for future reference IF IN DOUBT ABOUT ELECTRICAL INSTALLATION CONSULT A LICENSED ELECTRICIAN Customer Service 1 800 558 8700 Figure 1 JUNCTION BOX GROUND WIRE HOUSE WIRE FIXTURE WIRE WIRE NUT a FIXTURE SCREW KEYHOLE SLOT _f s KN MOUNTING STRAP ee Ys JUNCTION BOX SCREW WALL PLATE LOCK BALL on gt 4 k i A GLASS F SHADE T SOCKET RING A g BULB Sold Separately Figure 2 519389 519462 519397 519470
