1. INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS FOR 6230 288 For Wall Mount Fixture Minka Lighting Inc This product is protected by United States Federal and or State Law including Patent and or Copyright laws WARNING SHUT POWER OFF AT FUSE OR CIRCUIT BREAKER MOUNTING THE FIXTURE Installation see fig 1 Wiring see fig 2 1 Disconnect power at main electrical panel before 1 Connect the electrical wires as follows Connect the installation Black wire from the fixture to the black house hot 2 Thread the two mounting screws about 1 4 into the Wire Connect the white wire from the fixture to the whit pre drilled holes in the mounting plate spaced about the neutral house wire Make sure all wire nuts are secured same distance apart as the holes in the fixture back plate You may wrap the connections with electrical tape If Attach the mounting plate to the junction box using two your outlet box has a ground wire green or bare copper junction box screws The side of the mounting plate connect fixture s ground wire to it Otherwise attach the marked GND must face out bare copper fixture wire to the green ground screw on the 3 Guide fixture wires through hole in center of mounting mounting plate plate 2 Tuck the wire connections neatly into the wall junction 4 Follow wiring instructions carefully see fig 2 box 5 Mount fixture by aligning mounting holes in fixture back plate with mounting screws and threadin2. g ball nuts E onto mounting screws 6 Install the light bulbs in accordance with the fixture s specifications DO NOT EXCEED THE MAXIMUM WATTAGE RATING 7 Place the glass shade C into the metal frame D and then attach the metal cover B to top of the metal frame D and lock it with the screw A Supply Ground Wire Junction Box Box screw Fixture wire Supply wire Mounting screw Fixture Ground Wire Fig 2 a sca FI ie hoa O AXU E Peai MIN 90 C SUPPLY CONDUCTORS Bi ack or Viite or ne i Shoot h za A bbed aa HISE HOLEE aoad joes WIRES N american vite aien or a q a Welaidare Nout ral ee Gopper G ound rar association Intertek
